Mongoose May 24, 2012 Share May 24, 2012 I was talking with my friend today and we where discussing memory recall with tulpas and servitors when he brought up the topic of music. He questioned if you could have your tulpa or servitor (I believe they're effectively the same in this scenario) play music for you. Not necessarily sing, but like open their mouth and they use memory recall to play back an entire song. I am rather curious and I hope someone has tried this. Also while I'm here, we where also curious as to whether or not you could mentally will a fully developed tulpa to do something like move around or say or do something against their will. Just curious from the perspective of "is it possible", because I know there are some moral issues here. Anyway, if anyone could answer these that would be great. glitchthe3rd May 24, 2012 Share May 24, 2012 Not sure on the parroting a finished tulpa thing, they typically detect that you're trying to parrot them and resist it. If you get them to consent you might be able to do some reverse possession though. tulpatalk May 24, 2012 Share May 24, 2012 It'd be interesting and useful to have your tulpa have a tape-recorder ability. Or you could just force it a device that can access any sounds you have heard and play it back to you, not as a part of the tulpa, but imposed along with the tulpa. Guest May 24, 2012 Share May 24, 2012 Personally, I'm developing my tulpa to be able to sing or "play" anything my mind can recall. Since she's not done, there's nothing to report yet.
Virgil May 24, 2012 Share May 24, 2012 I remember asking FAQ man this exact question, and he said his tulpa can't do this, nor he can show him images or text in vivid detail. I'm not even sure this is a task suitable for a tulpa; I definitely wouldn't like to play music to someone, especially if it required effort. But it might be possible to learn such a skill even without a tulpa. Refer to this thread: http://tulpa.info/forums/Thread-Mental-image-Rendering-guide It deals with memorising and recalling pictures, but I imagine the same could be done with music. However, it seems to require a great deal of time and effort. Another alternative is to try asking your tulpa to help you create a servitor or some kind of mindless construct for this purpose. A tulpa might be much more efficient at that, since it can directly access the subconscious. Bayesian inference
Graywolf May 24, 2012 Share May 24, 2012 After finishing my tulpa, I've been planning on experimenting with a sort of "all-purpose" servitor that will be able to play music, show movies, tell time, etc... So, get back to me in about four months, haha. Tulpa: Brook Stage: We're back at the beginning
