I might as well say something.

I have a list of currently 28 traits. I'm expanding this slowly as I think of new traits to add as I go about my days. At a certain point, I'll go over each one, evaluate them, and probably shorten the list. Then I'll do it again, until I have a good enough list.

I have been forming my wonderland in the meantime. So what I did is I first made a shack in third-person floaty view. Sides wood, roof straw, door bamboo. That fucking door. It decided it wanted to be red. Not the door looks like a polished plastic mini fridge door. Anyway back on subject. So inside this shack, I placed two "transporters", one for me and one for my tulpa. They look like white plastic with cushioned glowing blue velvet places to put arms, legs and sich. Imagine a cross between the things in the Doctor Who episode "the rebel flesh" (in form), and the pods from James Cameron Avatar (in design cues).

So after this was done, I turned off the floaty view and went in in the normal way. I visualize going through a tube, like the opening to Doctor who, or something from Code Lyoko. I then open my eyes in the wonderland and step out of the transporter.

So that's how I got in the first time and how I will continue to get in. But the first time had complications. I walked over to the door and opened it. I was floating in a vast nothingness and almost fell. Reeling back, I gathered my bearings and made land. What I did was a gesture with my right hand where It was palm back near my side and I brought my whole arm up like I was tossing something attached to the back of my hand. From underneath the shack, ground with grass on it came out. The way it moved as it came out was sort of like an invisible hand grabbed the ground under the shack and stretched it in the direction I was gesturing. I did this paintbrush/earthbending thing until there was a fair amount of space to stand on. I then got curious and tried to see over the edge into the nothingness.

I fell.

It was weird how vivid the falling feeling was, but I focused and "broke the rules" so to say, and flew back up to the island. To prevent this happening again, I tried to make the grass field infinite. I don't think this worked, but whatever. After all this, I tried to make a hill with a tree on it. I stood back, near the shack, and tried to do the gesture to pull a hill out of the ground. I then ran up it to put a tree up there, but the whole thing felt off, so I killed the hill. When I was at the top of the hill, I jumped and while I was in tha air, I made a pushing gesture with my hand to flatten the hill.

I then went back to the skack to leave the wonderland. I climed into the transporter and closed my wonderland-eyes. My visualization for leaving is the visualization for entering, but backwards.

This all happened in one 15 minute session, I think.

Multiple times after that I tried to enter, but I've been too busy. In the few times I have entered, I didn't even leave the shack. A picture frame with a nondescript image in it appeared directly in front of my enterance pod thing. What was in the image is sort of two people standing next to each other, both looking like a cross between this and white clay. Behind them is a sort of line that I think is a horizon. I picked it up off the wall because it annoyed me and tried to take it outside. I was very tired at the time, so when I was standing in the doorway of that fucking door, intrusive thoughts showed monster faces on my vision like someone shoved a photograph in my face and I immediately mentally swiped it away and to the left. I decided to just leave it inside for now, so I propped it up against the wall next to my pod and left.

I haven't gone back since.

Teleport?

And the only thing that happened in the 15 minutes was that wonderland trip. That trait list took a long time.

I'm very indecisive and sich, so that's why I'm taking my time with the trait list.

Shorten it to 10 traits. You don't need that many fucking traits. Seriously.

Switch between talking and thinking during tulpaforcing while using my tones. If you're unfocused, just narrate random shit instead of the actual traits; better than falling asleep.

As for the teleport, I'm referring to your "transporter."

Oh, the pod thing. I'm just using that as a sort of 'trigger' for entering ans exiting the wonderland. Kind of like what I've heard people say about having a door or something as a gateway or whatever to get them in and out of their wonderland. But what's the use of talking about wonderlands witth you, Fede. Hah.

And as for the traits, I said I was going to shorten it down, gawrsh.

Was that second paragraph aimed at me, or did you post it in the wrong thread?

The actual number of traits necessary is an arbitrary thing to debate. People have found success with 10-30, with no personality work or 30+ hours of personality work. I'm thoroughly convinced there's no way to screw it up.

I myself am working with 25 traits, and it feels like it is enough. I just need to smooth it out with emotions, but that comes laters.

As for your pod thing for entering and exiting your wonderland, I think it is unnecessary. I had a similar thing (the doctor who time tunnel animation as well lol) but it didn't really help at all and really it just wastes 3 seconds of your time. I find deep breathing for 10 or so breaths is better for immersing yourself into a wonderland.

Also Fede, could you post the link to your tones or whatever they are that you were talking about? I'm interested in listening to them, but I sincerely hope they are not binaural beats- those things are so bullshit.

Yes. Just a random tip out of nowhere.

I know, but there certainly are ways to optimize development.

Even though binaural beats have a known effect, my tones are not binaural, entirely. They're a mix of isochronic tones and binaural beats; you could call them "bichronic tones," but I just refer to them as simply tones. I experiment with different methods that make the brain entrainment more efficient all the time. One thing you must always keep in mind, though, is that they're merely stimulants; tones like these, no matter how "powerful" some claim they can be, will never provide you with any drugging effects. They simply make something your brain is trying to do easier. Just wanted to say this to make sure you're not just throwing "placebo" in my face like Devano does.

You can find the tones in the resources thread.
