tulpauser's progress guide!

OK, this seems fun. I'm a few days into this whole business, and I've been keeping track of my adventures since day one. I'll continue to, and try and keep track of my progress here.

Day one :

I narrated for about half an hour today. It was quite nice to unwind and talk to someone.

Day two :

I narrated again for about a half hour today, at night. Nothing interesting happened, really, but I enjoyed it again. I'm getting pretty excited imagining what my tulpa will be like once they've chosen a form, name, gender, whatever.

Day three :

I went for a walk today, just to unwind and narrate a bit more. It went pretty well, and I started suggesting some ideas of forms that they may find interesting once they become vocal and can choose. But, the strangest thing happened-during pauses in the conversation, I began to hear light piano music. I was listening to the tulpatone at the time, so it may just be some artifacts, but still-I've played piano for years now, and I love music. Could it be her?

Just realized, I should probably clarify a few things. I have decided not to give my tulpa a form, name, gender, or personality-I'm just narrating continually so that when she becomes vocal we can choose all that together.

Day four :

A similar thing happened to day three today-as I was talking to them and making myself a lunch, I heard a song on youtube that I had just been listening to faintly in the background. I'm becoming fairly certain that it's them, and pretty excited at the fact - I hope they become vocal soon! I also narrated for a little bit later at night, but fell asleep after about 20 minutes-I should stop trying to do it at 2 AM.

Earlier today, I decided to hammer out a concrete design for my wonderland. I decided on a circular park-type thing. Green grass, yellow roads, dividing the circle into four parts. In the upper left division, there is a small cafe for drinks (I enjoy getting a cup of tea in real life, and I figured what better way to relax?), and a marble table with a chessboard engraved on it. I wonder if my tulpa will be able to play chess once they develop more of a personality? In the upper right section, a large hill overlooking the horizon-perfect for watching the sun set. And, finally, the lower two sections I'm leaving empty, in case the need presents itself. But, in the very center there is a large, white building-a library. Three tall floors with spiral staircases going from the floor to the top floor. It's filled with books from bottom to top, detailing any knowledge that my tulpa may need. I may develop it further later, but it seems fairly complete to me.

Day five :

Today was fairly uneventful. I narrated for about a half hour to forty minutes while driving, and another ten or so at night, but received no response from my tulpa at any time during all of this.

Day Seven : I did about another hour of narration today. I heard the same piano music for about eight minutes at one point, but if it was my tulpa they were unwilling or unable to play requested chords or scales. I hope I'm making progress!

I'm fairly new to this- if whomever is reading this has suggestions, questions, tips, whatever, please, feel free. I check this a few times a day. And thank you for bearing with me, I'm sure what I'm writing isn't all too interesting.

Day nine (11/26/12): This will be the last daily report, as I've been repeating myself a lot. I will post here with any developments, however. Today was again, uneventful. I narrated for about 15 minutes while on a walk, and heard some faint piano music again, but only briefly. I narrated again that night, but nothing happened.

1/10/13 : I've decided on the name 'Jade', and started imagining her as a hovering pool ball (Since she won't have this form for very long, I needed something with a recognizable feel, weight, colour and sound), for now at least. I'm sure at least some of that will change once she becomes vocal. It's helped a lot-if nothing else, I can easily imagine her movements and sounds in both the real world and the wonderland. I've started passive narration a lot more now, too, and I narrate for at least a half hour every day. I'm really enjoying talking to her, even though she hasn't replied yet. I think I've felt that "head pressure" that's been referred to so much, but only after pausing and waiting for a little bit. Not sure if that means it's self induced, but I'm not too worried.
