Hello everyone (from Russia)! :)

Before I begin, I want to warn you that I use Google.Translate. So - sorry for my bad english. :(

I am the creator of the site TulpaWiki. This resource is intended to unite our communities, in order to jointly find the answer to the question "What is Tulpa?". Resource is a simple Wiki-system, where anyone can add an article/guide, correct errors in existing pages or discuss material with other users. Initially the idea was to collect most of the materials in one place and at the moment (on the part of Russian community), wiki excellent succeeded in this. The project is entirely non-profit (site exists only thanks to donations), does not contain any advertising and created solely from feelings of altruism. I hope that you will support me by spreading links by adding articles in database or donating money to hosting.

This thread was created with permission of the administration Tulpa.info and represents a place for your discussions, suggestions and feedback.

For personal questions, please contact by e-mail.

Enjoy! ;)

I'm afraid I'm going to have to say it is disapproved.

We can only really rate English content as we don't have enough people who can speak Russian/other non-English languages, so I can't say how good/unique the non-English material is. The English ones, however, are all basically reposts that already can be found on .info. One thing might be new but that can't be the only thing we're looking at, as far as content goes. Whether or not a wiki is a good idea or if the authors have enthusiasm doesn't really matter. All we can approve of is actual content and execution, which right now is severly lacking and not approvable.

It might be another story if the wiki starts having way more unique English content and well written articles, but some might be against this kind of external sites in resources - after all, if one gets passed, then the other non-.info tulpa sites should also be approved as resources, as long as they have content that could be used as such. And even then we could not rate all the content as there would be too much, so we would have to put up a warning I guess.

So here's my suggestions for both the wiki and .info admins:

1. It should be put in the external links tab we have already. The links should also be fixed because right now I'm getting a database error.

2. A list of all the material posted in .info submissions should probably be made, one that lists both the approved and disapproved ones so that they're easy to find. Especially the non-English ones, as we had at least one previous Russian guide we could not approve due to the language. A list that points out where stuff can be found in other languages could be a great help to those who don't speak English very well. I am going to assume this wiki's non-English material is better than the English ones, so they would be of more use to non-English speakers.

3. If .info really wants to help this project and give it attention, put it in General Discussion. When things get posted in Resources, they rarely get anyone commenting on them, while General Discussion is made for, well, discussion. It could even be stickied if it is that important.

And as for the actual wiki, it really needs a better front page and make it easier to find the actual articles. Right now it's not very fun to use, so you should take a look at how other wikis do it and how they put links to things on the very first page already. The content should be sorted better too. A more obvious English language button would also be a good idea.

Currently the wiki is just the storage of materials. To ensure that users want to post their own content on the site, you need them to see the usefulness of the resource and its "weight", if I may say so. This may take some time. In addition, in the team there are interpreters "English => Russian" and "Russian => Ukrainian". I hope in a short time I can to find translators from Russian to English, because most of the materials of my countrymen are really effective. More recently, some Russian-language sources began to disappear/removed and the users were pleased that articles have been preserved in the wiki.

I also noticed this problem a long time ago and reported it to the administration. Now we can only wait. :\

I leave it to the discretion of the administration.

About language: The browser should automatically redirect you to version wiki, the language of which is installed in your browser. If this does not work, use the links on the main page. And I can introduce country flags in links to translations, to make them more visible.

Thanks for the tips, I think that with this can be done. :)
