Tulsi may have been talking/trying to talk (o.q)

I was sitting in bed last night, thinking of stuff because I couldn't get to sleep, and I heard my name called twice (in my head, most likely, but I'm not quite certain). No one else was up (it was two in the morning, after all), and it sounded distorted. I tried to see what was up, but I heard nothing else said. It took me even longer to get to sleep because I was thinking about that, but if it was actually something, I don't care ( '-')

Well, the first thing my tulpa said was my name, and in a similar situation (I was tuplaforcing though), so I guess it's possible. If you were sleepy, then it's quite possible that you were just hearing things.

My tulpa speeks mostly while I'm about to go to sleep/hypnagogic states too.

I wasn't sleepy. As I said, I couldn't get to sleep, I was nowhere near it. Insomnia's a bitch.

But yeah, that's one of the first things I considered.

Can anyone with a fully verbal tulpa confirm is this was their experience too?

Before Lauren was fully verbal, when she'd just occasionally speak faintly and unintelligibly, I'd sometimes hear her more clearly before going to sleep. It was still unintelligible then, but it would be louder. However, when I first started hearing her consistently and being able to make out what she was saying, it was when I was awake--post-forcing the first time, but wide awake.

If you have insomnia then I'll just go ahead and say it was just you hearing things. Insomnia can cause hallucinations, since you aren't getting enough sleep.

G_d30n: Did her mumblings slowly become more coherent, or did she mumble for some time then suddenly figure out how to speak properly?
