Two things (Tulpaforge Instruct videos) (Tulpa Convo)

Recommended Posts

Alright I have two questions. The first would be about a Tulpaforging instructional video. I have not found any really and I think if the Tulpa community could maybe make some instructional video guides for people, that it would help a lot of novice tulpaforgers like myself. There is a difference between reading something on a screen and watching someone or listening to them guide you through a well... guide heh. I know that there are many different ways of making a tulpa, but it'd still be nice to actually see the works of tulpaforging. So, anyone willing to make a few tulpa forging videos to help the novices?

My second question is about Tulpa conversations. Now, I have been talking with my Tulpa about creating her, does that affect her in any way? Like for example I'll be talking to her about why I gave her a certain personality trait and explaining many different things about it. I also talk about myself but if she comes from my mind shouldn't she know a lot about me already?

There's a big problem with that... you can't record what's going on in someone's mind.

I'm confused what exactly you're trying to ask here. Yes, telling her about her personality traits is going to affect her; that's the entire point of personality forcing. If it didn't have any effect, then it'd be pointless.

1) explaining why you want her to have a certain trait is great. It will help her to think logically and to understand what you want from her. Other than that it's a great way to narrate and will in the long run help her with her sentience.

2) Toby doesn't know everything about me even though we're from the same mind. He knows certain things like for instance the fact that I would like or dislike a certain person or food or activity but he still asks me why. And I do the same for him.

3) don't be afraid to ask questions of your tulpa. Toby's been with me forever and yet I only just found out that he doesn't like banana candy or artificial fruit flavor of any kind and he doesn't like kids movies much. That led to some interesting conversations. I also just found out that he's agnostic bordering on atheist and I'm quite the spiritualist so your tulpa will become their own person and it will be awesome. Have fun!

If your attention span is too short to read a short guide, you should not be making a tulpa. A video would be less informative than a written guide, and would take a lot more work to make.

For all the bashing of videos, I think it could work. Yeah, you can't see what's going on in someone's head -- unless they show you.

Don't try to tell me that Dali painted that from life. That right there is a representation of what was going on in his head. It's something he was visualizing. And if he can show what he was visualizing in an image, why couldn't we do it in a video?

Yes, a video would contain less verbal information than a written guide, and yes, it would take work to make. On the other hand, people learn in different ways. Some people can't learn by reading, but hearing or seeing would help.

And we get someone posting every week saying "What should I be seeing?" Why not show them?

This is the best video guide you'll ever find.

Actually not, though that's probably the funniest thing I've ever seen
