Unexpected Vocalization?

As a prelude to this post, my tulpa is only six days old at the moment, and I'm not a personal believer in the idea of so-called "insta-tulpas."

Today, I was walking into my bedroom and narrating at the same time, and I noticed that my bedsheets had been changed. I told my tulpa this, and as I was in the middle of this, I heard a high-pitched mindvoice say "Wonderful!" very clearly (note: not an auditory hallucination, it was in my "mind's ear"). It was extremely unexpected and definitely didn't come from me.

However, it didn't feel like it came from my tulpa, and the voice sounded nothing like what I'd imagined my tulpa's voice would be. I even asked Faharan if it was him, and heard no response.

Could that have just been my subconsciousness messing with me? A user on the IRC suggested that I may be unwittingly developing a different tulpa- is that even possible? If not, what the hell could it have been?

That sounds similar to what happened to me. It could be your tulpa, or it could just be some kind of mental hiccup. Either way, trying to tell yourself it's too soon is only going to impede your progress. You should just assume it was your tulpa and go with it.

Also I really hate how much this community accepts this accidental tulpa bullshit. I swear it's a fad now to say "today I woke up and had three new tulpas xD". You can't even accidentally make them, unless you're batshit or something. It's all up to you. Further more, even if an individual tulpa can just be thought of as a throw-away concept, if you really want to get into this you have to take a tulpa seriously. Don't just "accidentally" make them, take making another one into serious consideration.

I would just like to say that I agree with everything Bin said. Everything. Yes. 100%.

Words of wisdom.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

Pro-tip: Anytime you think you accidentally tulpa'd another tulpa, your fixation on that being the case may end up being true. Benefit of a doubt for short-term declarations of the voice in your head as your tulpa, especially if the voice is akin to one of the voices you want them to start out with, is probably going to be better than thinking you're making easy-bake tulpas unwillingly.

I get random screams and declarations from mine unexpectedly, though it's mostly through what seems like an auditory hallucination at times for me. It usually happens when my head stays completely still, and I start hearing this washy-ocean sensation, kind of like putting a conch shell to your ear.

Just to be clear, I wasn't saying that I believed the idea that I was unintentionally creating another tulpa, nor did I intend to try and "accidentally" make one.

Thank you all for your input. I appreciate it.

It was prevalent that you didn't believe in insta-tulpas, but when someone questions if their subconscious/unconscious is being a trickster on them, sometimes it makes them very critical about what happened. They may either try to brush off that moment as just a fleeting thought, or they may speculate if that voice really had potential to be another tulpa (or presuming it was the one they're currently working on).

Since you added the anti insta-tulpa mindset, maybe it's making you underestimate your receptiveness to your tulpa (e.g. not feeling it was them), because when you tried to ask them later on, you didn't get any response. This either made you conclude that just because there was no response when you asked, that there was some kind of underlying scheme fabricated from your own mind. The lack of response for that case probably shouldn't have made you worried so much.

Not saying you're militantly following the anti insta-tulpa mindset, but sometimes being skeptical of subtle declarations may lead to habits where you often glance over things that may be even more overwhelming. I guess something to add to the disposition of the anti insta-tulpa mindset is that you can still make breakthroughs with the voices, it's just that you know development, and improvement from you and them takes time either way, no matter what kind of milestone one personally thinks they achieved.

Just because you heard a voice that sounded like them, and if you believed it may have been them (rather than being skeptical), doesn't really mean you made an insta-tulpa, since everyone's ideology of what's a full-fledged tulpa is subjective, but that doesn't mean you're not on your way to eventually making one of course (the kind of tulpa that's developed over time that is).
