Vog August 1, 2012 Share August 1, 2012 I've been observing this site for the past few days and decided this sounds like a interesting and rewarding experiment to pursue. I'm laying down the groundwork for the personality of my tulpa right now. I have dozens of traits and i'm attempting to put them into the categories of Phi's Five big traits. I'm going to slim the lists done some. I'm still foggy about the form it will take, but I think I'll finish the personality first. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how the get into the mindset of Tulpaforcing? I haven't really attempted it yet, but I also understand it varies between individuals, was just looking for a starting point.
Vog August 1, 2012 Author Share August 1, 2012 I have a basic idea of the traits I'm aiming for. Tomorrow I plan on adding some basic likes, dislikes, and quirks. I hope those don't impose to much on the Tulpa and allow for deviation latter in development. Some of the traits might sound redundant, but I find that some have a slightly different connotation to me. Personality Openness (Open to new ideas) • Ambitious • Enthusiastic • Open-minded • Forgiving • Thoughtful • Freedom to others • Accepts Change Conscientiousness (Careful/ Disciplined) • Devoted • Motivated • Playful • Self Directed • Reliable • Focused Extroversion (Social/ Charismatic) • Sincere • Social independence • Friendly • Courteous • Cheerful Agreeableness (Cooperative/Compassionate) • Trusting • Sympathetic • Responsive • Cooperative • Allows imperfection • Empathetic Neurotism (Opti/Pessimistic) • Optimistic • Affectionate • Realistic • Self Confident • Immature Likes: Dislikes: Quirks:
Vog August 2, 2012 Author Share August 2, 2012 I finally finished and polished the personality. Before I start trying to tulpaforce I'm doing a few concentration exercises to get in the right state of mind. After I do some practice with the visualization process I plan on starting my Tulpa in earnests.
Pronas August 2, 2012 Share August 2, 2012 Seems alright to me. Don't forget to hug your tulpa a lot.
Vog August 3, 2012 Author Share August 3, 2012 I won't Pronas, at least once she has a form. My tulpa seems to be female, not sure why. Got about 50 minutes today to discuss her personality with her. Not nearly as long as I wanted so I'm hoping I'll get more time in a little while. I thought I was feeling something towards the end, not sure how to describe it. Feels like there's something in the back of my skull? Doesn't feel bad, just different, so I'm taking it as a good sign.
Vog August 7, 2012 Author Share August 7, 2012 I got about 4 hours of telling my tulpa about her personality, and 10 minutes into each session I would start to get a headache even though I don't feel like I was really working my mind harder than usual, so i'm not sure if that's a good sign or not. I'll continue and see what happens.

Vog August 7, 2012 Author Share August 7, 2012 Yeah, I had to organize it like that, otherwise I would lose focus on what traits I wanted and probably wouldn't spend anywhere close to as much time as I would need to on personality.
