waifu
#1
Hello.

I want to make a tulpa of my waifu. First of all, I do know that it won't be EXACTLY the same as in not like in the source material. I am aware that the appearance of tulpas can change over the course of time. I am not doing this only for my own sake and for my emotions. When I will be done with my tulpa, I will be sure to treat her with kindness and cherish her.

I would like to see what experienced tulpamancers who made their tulpas out of waifus have to say about their whole experience. YES, I used the search function and I found a thread but no one really tried it out. I have seen a few people on the IRC but I was too shy at that time.

So... any waifu-tulpamancers here? If so, I would like you to tell me how it went for you. A lot of people have been talking about the inconveniences of making a tulpa out of your waifu. I will start with a base, add up some stuff, and voila. But I want to know if any of you guys had success with it.

It's fine if you both allow it to be fine.

If you have preconceptions or fears that there will be problems, there probably will be.

Also, probably best if you don't mention it when it's unnecessary. Nobody wants to hear someone brag about their waifu. This is a tulpa forum, not a waifu forum.

EDIT: Also it's my opinion that that angle is a pretty good angle to make a tulpa from. If you genuinely have an attachment or interest to them, you're more likely to stick to it and treat them kindly.

I won't brag at all, I'm simply asking for the feedback of those who actually did it, if they feel embarassed they can PM me, or we could go on the IRC, I don't mind.

It's not that I have any fears but at the same time I wouldn't want my tulpa to feel hurt or anything like that.

Well... we can consider Martina and I as a couple if you take it with a truckload of salt. (And, she blushes again...)
Our relationship is very close, but other than cuddling and sometimes holding each other's hands we don't do much. The latter is also only if she wants, or if I feel I have the need to confirm she is here. She has a very cold, irking aura around her (cause she is dead), so it's easy for me to feel her with my hands. Unfortunately with those only.

Me and my first Tulpa, Wynn are kinda married, so you could say she's my waifu. Given we're still together and such, it's been going well, and she helps take care of the younger tulpas as well, so all in all it is working out well.

I actually did it. My tulpa shares the form and similar personality with my favorite character (I guess we're calling it a waifu for now).

I didn't mean to be so scolding when I said don't brag... My tulpa and I believe that having a tulpa is a very personal journey. Talking about them too freely almost seems fake. The point of having a tulpa isn't to tell everyone about it, it's all for *you* (your brain, which you both now share).

Some people like telling everyone about their tulpa, which is fine too I guess (though you will see some judgement), but I feel like with your waifu it's a bit like bragging. There's nothing about a tulpa that necessitates telling people, but if you choose to you can probably omit the waifu part to avoid further judgement. That's what I meant by unnecessary.

Make it what you want, have fun, enjoy yourselves, and don't try to tell the other what to do. If you can get along like normal people it'll definitely be fine! Good luck. Smile

Luna used to be very tsundere towards me but has since warmed up to the idea of us being a boyfriend and girlfriend/waifu and husbando/whatever. And no, she's an original character I made, not THAT Luna... or the other one.

I guess I should mention that you need to respect your tulpa's wishes and not force her into getting into a relationship with you if she's uncomfortable with it. But since you can both read each other's minds, it's easier to build trust and friendship with them than another human, so you shouldn't really have problems getting her to warm up to you if needed.

First of all, I didn't mean to offend you or anything, and I do apologize if you thought I took your post as an offense. I greatly appreciate the fact that you answered me.

Indeed. I won't talk about it to anyone, as I don't mean to brag, but I'm going to keep a friend interested in tulpamancing updated on my own tulpamancing, but other than that...
Sorry for giving the wrong idea Smile
I wouldn't brag about it at all either. It took great efforts for me to even go on the IRC and ask around a bit since I didn't really want anyone knowing in the first place. Oh well!
Waifu is only a term to me, as the core of a relation does not reside in a term.

Of course I would respect her wishes. Only selfish people would do that, I would treat her kindly and give her all the freedom she's entitled to.
