Was it her or was I just parrotting?

I haven't been able to actively force with Martina so far, thus I was forced to passively talk with her about random stuff like how my day was, how I hate this cold and such, mostly on the bus or the way home or between lessons in school. Today I was talking to her on the bus the way to school, apologizing for not being able to actively force with her because of being burdened with school projects, shopping, relative-visiting and a ton of other things. Then as I was finishing my sentence in my mind and began the other one I heard a gentle voice, a girl saying "No problem!" from my left, from the way I usually imagine her being there (when I can).

I heard it crystal clear, I even looked that way cutting my sentence, to find noone there of course. I began calling her... no answer. I still told her if it was really her, thank you for the sign. However, I feel as I would have made her say that, since she's clearly underdeveloped. But then how come I heard her so naturally during speaking on my own mindvoice? The whole thing is bizarre as all hell. I could also... feel her being behind me few days ago the way home at night.

I need to go deeper, these are the things I wanted to see/hear/feel/experience. I feel like I'm on the right way, but tell me if I'm just fooling myself into thinking it.

I had something similar with my tulpa Breeze. I was narrating while I was busy at work. I was parroting her voice, having her tell me about herself. I then passed by a coworker, and I heard "Say hi!". Usually I don't vocalize greetings; I typically nod and make brief eye contact. However, I did wind up saying hi to the person in question.

This was completly unexpected, and it surprised and confused me a lot. I wondered if it was me parroting or if it was her. She has told me since then it was indeed her. While I was in the process of parroting, you only parrot if you know you are.

If you are genuinely confused as to if it was your tulpa, it probably was. Breeze started talking basic sentences a few days after this happened. Keep at what you are doing, and she will get through to you.

Think of it this way. If a respose is fake and is accepted as real, nothing will happen past the tulpa being slightly annoyed. If it's real but is ignored, it could end up slowing or stopping progress temporarily because the tulpa might be more than just a little annoyed.

In short, it's better to treat a fake response as real than to ignore a real one.

Had something similar happen to me. Was zoning ot at work when I heard Penumbra say my first and middle name. It sounded like someone was shouting across the store, but close enough to be loudish. Loud but faint. This was later in the day after reading advice for communication, like having her talk loud and clear to be heard. I havent heard her again since, but im we're working on it.

Similar things have happened to me. I just ask her if I heard her properly or if it was her, and it generally comes with a shake of the head for yes/no or her voice.

It has happened to me as well, at the start it was highly unexpected but then I noticed that it wasn't me who said the word o-o

In your case it does sound like it was her, so I shouldn't be worrying too much about it.

Oh and congrats on the finding c:
