When realization soaked in...
#1
Okay, enough with the cryptic(ish) title, I realized something BIG the other night. Esper was certainly not my only tulpa. All the people(that' the word?) I was passing off as soulbonds had full sentiance. I did a test, on each and every one of them. Most passed with flying colors. This made me see, the accidental tulpas I had put on stasis couldn't hurt my system, because they've been a part of it for months. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they could easily have all been accidental tulpas. 12 of them, only 7 of which I actually made regular contact with(Esper included). So some of all y'all are probably wondering, "Okay, WHEN did you realize this? And how?" Well, let's just go back a few days. I was feeling particularly... experimental with the "soulbonds" and Esper, so I released one from Stasis, arguably the one I interact with the most, and let her interact with Esper for a bit. Up to that point I myself had figured that the "soulbonds" were just being parroted and puppeted, but Janey(The one I released) sure didn't act like it. She was fully sentient, and after some quick thinking, I came to the conclusion that why Janey was so vocal at first was because I used to interact with her on a daily basis, whereas Esper I used to talk to about once a month. Thus, Janey had had moe passive forcing. *Thinks fast as to where he's even going with this* Basically, I'm saying that if hypothetically, if I'm correct and I used to have many tulpas, could I handle bringing some out of stasis? I've kept Janey out, and she's doing fine(She really wants to say hi to you guys lol), so I'm gonna keep her around, but the others? What should I do with them? I feel like some of them(The 5 I didn't regularly interact with) were often on the brink of dissipation. So yeah, basically, what the heck should I do about this?

I guess I have to talk... I practice Tulpamancy and Psionics, PM me for stuff related to that. I love Puyo Puyo(Look it up!). I exist and I like it like that. PM me for a random essay topic, or somethin'.

None will ever be tulpas unless you specifically allow it. I have had your definition and description of 'soulbonds' in my head for 6-8 years, none have ever lost any potency.

What you have are advanced tulpa-candidate NPC's.

It's specifically up to you to allow them to develop into tulpas, now that you understand what tulpas are. Even Esper may or may not be a tulpa at this stage, but keep in mind your intent.

To my knowledge, it is generally safe to put NPC's or tulpas in stasis. They may change in stasis, or not at all. The only way they will dissipate (as NPC's or tulpas) is if your memories of them are completely lost.

My soulbonds pass sentience tests all day, but that's not the full criteria for a tulpa. I don't consider sentience a definitive test because your subconsious mind can play tricks and make it look to you like they are.

Put them all in stasis.

Don't bother with any that you don't really speak to often. As in, forget them, dissipate them, or put them in some sort of "stasis." I'll be honest, I don't understand soulbonds completely, but if you're parroting or puppetting characters in your head, they don't really seem to have the independence to be a tulpa yet.

So would it be worthwhile to release some of the other ones from stasis? ... Or is that a terrible idea?

This is essentially my other thoughtforms. I would only talk to the Grays once or twice a month, and none of them are sentient even though they can easily cheat sentience tests.

Since you talked to Janey so often for that long, I think it's safe to say she qualifies as sentient. The other characters are probably faking senience, and the only way for them to become sentient is if you decide you want them as Tulpas and spend more time with them.

I think you will be fine with Janey and Esper, but I don't recommend making any more Tulpas.

You can still talk to the other soulbonds if you really want too, but remember that they are not sentient and they are not individuals.
My Wonderland form minus the glasses and the fur when Ranger comes up and surprises me with a hug, hence "surprise kitten". I'm still not a hippo, I promise.
I sometimes speak in pink and Ranger sometimes speaks in blue (if it's unmarked and colored assume it's Ranger). He loves to chat.

My other Tulpas have their own account now.

Got it. But for the record, Iḿ keeping Janey awake.

A lot of the tests, especially those that rely on surprising the host with something random, aren't necessarily indicative of sentience. If I asked a hypothetical "tulpa" to surprise me, my mind would fill in the blanks and provide me with something at random. There's a good chance that it would even fall in line with whatever personality that tulpa is associated with too.

You seem pretty eager to flood your mind with characters without properly developing existing ones - this alone is enough to make me recommend against removing imaginary friends from "stasis". Here's something from another thread of yours that's still relevant:

(10-12-2018, 12:08 AM)Vos Wrote: Having multiple tulpas might seem appealing when you read about all of the intra-system dynamics but for plenty of people it's a difficult game of divvying up attention. This is even worse when you're dealing with multiple underdeveloped thoughtforms. So, if you can, ignore your "soulbonds" and any temptation to create a new tulpa until you wouldn't be making one for the novelty of it.

This isn't a race. You'll be better off in the long run if you pace yourself.
