How to get inside the wonderland as if you were truly there or dreaming?

As it says in the title, I want to associate with wonderland/the mental world and dissociate as much as possible from reality/the physical world. I've been told countless times on the IRC "Just imagine yourself there" but that's not making me eventually "pop in" or anything, I just keep on using my (lacking) imagination, or in other words daydreaming. I've had my tulpa for more than 2 years as of now and I really want to meet him (And by the way, I'm a male too) To be honest I've already met him twice in dreams, but once I wasn't lucid and the other time just lasted seconds (I'm trying lucid dreaming for this as well) So, what to do? And I prefer long and explicative answers to TLDR(s)

TLDR: "Just imagine yourself there" not working.

The only thing I can think to say is to improve your lucid dreaming ability. There is no way to truly "be" in your wonderland as you are describing, and so lucid dreaming is about the closest you can get. There are many ways to improve your lucid dreaming ability, and they can all be found online. The best ways though are to record any dreams you remember and you will start to remember your dreams more, and then from there you can find many ways to initiate a lucid dream. The more you practice the longer and more often they will happen.

I know this probably wasn't the answer you are looking for, and I'm sorry. But there is no way to truly be in your wonderland as if it was reality.

I'm here with my completely vocal tulpas; Rainbow, Asrielle, and Lapis. They might talk here sometimes, and when they do Rainbow will be italicized, Asrielle will be purple, and Lapis will be blue. We are currently able to do advanced visualization and we have the ability to switch. See profile for more info.

Asrielle - 4/21/16 - Purple

Lapis - 7/23/16 - Blue

Well you just aren't trying hard enough. I live here, even if I didn't at first.

Assuming you are referring to permanently switching, yes, I did not think of that, but I also feel like that doesn't relate to this question as much.

While that is what happened in my case, it wasn't what I was talking about. The body doesn't require anyone to front, whoever is in front is capable of just falling back and leaving the body in a sort of comatose state. I've seen people talk about it all the time. Think of it as like switching, but nobody comes to fill the void left in front.

I've heard some people say that when they do that, the body still functions on its own. The brain takes control on its own, even without input from those living in it. Freaky to think about, but interesting.

yeh but it ain't thinking, so it's not really freaky. It's goin off habits and passive knowledge and maybe instinct. probly does not do things you wouldn't normally without some form of conscious thinking. And if "it's" consciously thinking, it's just a person, probably the host

Lucid dream for lifelike wonderland experience. Apparently it's why we even have a wonderland, just to help in lucid dreaming. You can tell yourself and believe you're really experiencing the wonderland lifelike-ly while dissociated from the mind and body, but for people less satisfied with belief and more so with experience, ya gotta dream. Or, you know, work on your visualization and stuff. Sometimes I go swimming in the wonderland and I'm immersed enough it feels a lot real-er than when the others wonderland. Not lifelike, but since it's kinda immersive, I'm sure you can get better and better at it right? Bein bad at wonderlanding/visualization doesn't mean you have to find another way, it's literally the definition of immersing yourself in and experiencing your wonderland. Soooo practice! And if you do, work on meditation! Set up a nice environment you can ignore, spend some time doing whatever meditation entails for you, then do your best to immerse yourself in your wonderland.

I guess it would be just like lucid dreaming, as in you try to engage all your senses to "stabilize your dream", or immerse yourself in the daydream, or to "dissociate from the body", or just get better at visualizing.

I mean it's freaky to think about that happening.

That's what I figured though. A bit like sleep-walking, in a way.

Yeah maybe, I don't know what to think about sleep-walking tho. Seems like a disorder (well maybe it is), where your brain's like half on half off around when you were sleeping. But I don't believe the person's actually asleep. I think they're just somehow managing to get up and walk around despite not really waking up all the way (normal people tend to "wake up" between waking up and getting up). uh anyways

it's freaky when you say "it". are we all so dissociated from our bodies here we're spooked of it being its own entity or something? idk to some extent it's really still just you, but your focus/"thinking mind"/front-er is elsewhere. Not like your focus is your whole mind. Obviously the mind does toooooooooooons of stuff that your conscious/thinking/you brain can't keep track of or control. But that part is the part that really thinks, so without it it goes off of old habits and stuff, and if it tries to do something new "it" will probably mess up. Gotta keep thinking and processing to deal with the ever-changing world around us! ! !

it's like walking or driving while texting. you ain't actually thinking and it works fine on habit until you run into something

K: To put in my input, often I just at night imagine I am there, and just with practice it becomes more real. I once could go in near-real like and fell out of practice, but just constantly doing it at night got it to work for me.

K: Also, forgot to add, make sure when you are imagining it, to immerse your senses by actually paying attention to detail. Like for instance, eating an apple in wonderland. But imagine what it feels like, what it looks like, how heavy in your hands it is. The sound of when you bite into it, the taste of it, the smell of it. Just gotta focus on that kind of stuff and practice it.
