Shinyuu October 23, 2015 Share October 23, 2015 I created a small questionnaire about tulpae names and would be glad if you could spend a few minutes to fill it. The link is here: http://goo.gl/forms/bwqn8gEINU All the results (apart from personal information surely) would be aggregated and provided to the community in two weeks time. Guest Anonymous October 23, 2015 Share October 23, 2015 I think that names are just names overall, but my tulpa believes that there's more to it, as a tulpa who tried to diverge from the name she was given many times and always ended up coming back to 'her' name, with 'her' form. We filled that up.
sushi October 23, 2015 Share October 23, 2015 We did too. We think she came up with her current name, but neither of us really remembers. "Some things have to be believed to be seen." - Ralph Hodgson
Luminesce October 23, 2015 Share October 23, 2015 Since I didn't exactly know I was creating "tulpas" at the time, Reisen, Tewi and Flandre are all based on my headcanon of the respective Touhou characters. Personalities developed separately from the characters over time, but they never "thought they were the characters" or anything like that. My fourth tulpa, Lucilyn, is based on Suwako in the same way, but she wasn't spontaneous like the others and years younger, so I gave her her own name. None of us have ever thought about having a different name before, there's no problems with them. Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature. My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there. Shinyuu October 29, 2015 Author Share October 29, 2015 Curiously enough; that's the opinion of almost exactly half of the group; while the other half has a very different opinion! Statistics is fun.
