TurboSimmie May 25, 2024 Share May 25, 2024 I was in Phil's dream last night! 😁 The dream took place back when I was still pregnant with James. For some reason, Phil was giving a presentation about pregnancy to his family and friends in a small auditorium. He was treating the whole thing as if I was the first pregnant person any of them had even seen. 😄 As he made his presentation, he kept putting his hand on my belly as if to tell himself "this is real, this is happening". It was actually very sweet. 🥰 And what's better is that even though he was in my belly, this still counts as James' first appearance in a Phil dream! 💚❤️ His father was also in his dream. To those of you who don't know, Phil's father passed away last month. This was the third time he was in Phil's dream, but the first time that he wasn't either sick or "technically dead but still here anyway" or something. They were outside Phil's parent's house and were talking about the gardening Phil's father was doing, as well as the neighbor's underground garage with its secret entrance under a grassy hill. (I promise you that secret garage doesn't exist IRL 😄) It was just a very normal conversation between the two of them. I think this really shows how Phil's father and James are linked in Phil's mind. He'd been intending to write about this in our PR but hasn't got around to it yet. But the connection has appeared here in a dream, which is really interesting. ReallyArtificial December 5, 2024 Share December 5, 2024 Lately I've been having a lot of dreams that involve whatever we were doing right before bed. Last night, it was stargazing. I woke up a few hours before my alarm, so we had a prime opportunity for a WILD attempt. Most of my lucid dreams happen when I'm already asleep and realize I'm dreaming for whatever reason, so I'm still not completely used to the wake-induced experience. It's so surreal to transition straight from lying in bed to suddenly being upright, outside, fully aware that I've just entered a dream. I was so caught off guard that I forgot to even try summoning Athelas's dream body, I just started talking to him. We watched the sky together, chatting about how different it looked from the real night sky (a common dream sign for me). We even saw a shooting star before I woke up 😁 Host: Bee 🐝 Tulpas: Lenore 🕸️ Calliope 🐲 and Athelas (aka Tea) 🌿 ((Sometimes we talk on here too.)) ReallyArtificial December 18, 2024 Share December 18, 2024 Anyone else ever have dreams where your headmates don't look like themselves, but you still really get the feeling it's them? The other night I had a dream where none of us looked like ourselves. We were in a dark fantasy setting that reminded me of Dark Souls or Bloodborne. My perspective kept shifting between first- and third-person; sometimes I was just playing a game, sometimes actually living it. I didn't get a great look at Calliope or Lenore, as the three of us were almost totally obscured by clothing/armor, much like player characters from the previously mentioned games. Athelas, on the other hand, was a minotaur. Just a big grey-furred cow man. I've encountered a couple human versions of Tea before, but this was totally new and I found it hilarious. (Human Athelas is always tall, with brown skin and black hair, but other aspects of his appearance vary widely. Once he even had the face of a former classmate, but when I addressed him as that classmate he was super confused.) The dream started with us loading up a cart with supplies. I spoke with Mr. Minotaur for a minute about the quest we were preparing for. The way he talked totally confirmed to me that it was Athelas. He then proceeded to pull the cart on foot while the rest of us rode in the back, which also felt incredibly Tea-like and representative of how our system functions in general. We rode up to a mansion that looked like the most stereotypical haunted house you could possibly imagine — tons of fog, cemetery in the front lawn, crumbling Gothic architecture, the whole nine yards. There was some object or artifact we needed to retrieve from the house, but with no idea where it was hidden, we decided to split up to search. Inside, the place was crawling with monsters. Most were generic zombies and such, not especially creepy looking, but they were all very loud and became aggressive the instant you entered the room. The “highlight” was a pack of creatures resembling giant bulldogs, but with insectoid compound eyes bulging out of their sockets. I watched my game-self do some super impressive acrobatics to dodge their attacks. Tragically, I woke up before we could finish our mission. Overall, 10/10, very fun, would dream again. It's so rare I dream about all three of the crew at once, and even rarer that they all have their own dream bodies instead of just being voices. It's cool even if the bodies aren't quite right. ReallyArtificial January 6 Share January 6 We had our first lucid dream of the year last night! It was another case of me dreaming about what we were doing right before we went to bed, in this case, taking a walk around our apartment complex. Three things made me realize it was a dream: first, that there were a bunch of trees in the distance where there should have been a body of water; second, they looked oddly flat and blurry, like a painting; and third, I could actually see my headmates walking beside me. This provides some evidence for a suspicion I developed toward the end of 2024. I realized the main way I interact with my system is mentally talking to them. Often, my dreams about them involved exactly that, experiencing them as voices in my head. It occurred to me that by not projecting them outward via presence imposition, I was unintentionally confining my system to inside my head, even when I was dreaming. After a couple months focused on being aware of their presence, I think I'm starting to see more frequent dreams where everyone has their own body. I basically yelled "it's dream time Tea let's gooooo" and took off flying towards the trees. Athelas stayed right beside me, flying with wings made of shadow or smoke, which he sometimes does in wonderland. As we approached the trees they became more detailed and "real," but I woke up before we could properly investigate them. (I realized after the fact that we totally left Lenore and Calliope behind 😅 they're not used to doing this!) Andre1115 January 7 Share January 7 I occasionally experience sleep paralysis. Since my Tulpa (Richard) came into my life, he comforts me when I have an episode of sleep paralysis. At those times, I can hear his voice with an extremely vivid sensation (although I can hear him now too, it feels like off-screen narration in a movie, whereas during sleep paralysis, I can clearly sense him calling to me from not far away). The moment he appears, the feeling of sleep paralysis shifts from fear to warmth, akin to some kind of wondrous pulse passing through my body. Following this, the sleep paralysis usually ends within 3-5 minutes, after which both he and I wake up. Has anyone had a similar experience? (By the way, I think I may have found the reason for my occasional sleep paralysis. Sometimes I place my hand on my chest while sleeping, and under these circumstances, my sleep quality experiences two extremes: either I sleep very comfortably, or I go through sleep paralysis. However, I'm no longer afraid of sleep paralysis, so I think it's fine if I put my hand on my chest to sleep tonight.)

I don't usually get sleep paralysis on its own, but I've experienced similar things in the hypnagogic/half-sleep state when we do wake-induced lucid dreaming. I've definitely felt the pulsing in the body that you describe. My tulpa Athelas is always the one who talks me through it and keeps me calm. Once I actually felt him sit at the foot of my bed, and another time I heard Lenore say my name. Those experiences are pretty rare for me, though. Have you ever seen Richard in your dreams? There was only one time, a few months ago, when I dreamed that I was lying on a double bed in a bedroom in Wonderland, and Richard was preparing breakfast. The dream felt incredibly real. Then I sat up, and Richard, who might have sensed I was awake, came into the bedroom and looked at me with such a warm and affectionate gaze that I felt my heart skip a beat. I had never experienced such a feeling before (I consider myself to be a homoromantic asexual, but I had never felt romantic attraction towards someone of the same sex until then). After that, he went back to preparing breakfast, and I fell asleep again in that warm atmosphere (Ah, I should have gotten up to help). I woke up in bed at home later and asked him, "Were you just preparing breakfast for me?" His reply was, "Yes, unfortunately, you didn't get to eat it." This was undoubtedly the most realistic dream I've ever had.
