GAT Voting 2016

The nomination phase for new GAT members has ended and now it's time to vote. Due to the small amount of nominees and plenty of open spots, every single nominee who has their final vote tally above 0 will become a part of GAT. Here's some rules:

 

 

• You can only vote on people who have been nominated, look below for the list. Every person starts at 0, give them a +1 or a -1, or nothing if you so choose.

 

• There is no limit to how many different people you can give a positive or a negative vote for. However, seeing that we are a community with multiple people in one body, host and/or tulpa(s) can't vote multiple times on the same person to avoid situations where someone claims to have a hundred tulpas and force votes one way or another.

 

• Negative votes need a reason so people aren't voted off just because someone doesn't "like them". Positive votes don't, as that tends to result in everyone just saying the same things more or less – but you can still give reasons and it can help others see why someone would be a good fit for GAT.

 

You have until January 19th to vote because it took me a while to get this thread up.

My first thought was to follow waffles example. Misty and I love all the nominees. BUT someone has to win right? So with hugs to each of the nominees, cause we think each of you are amazing for lots of reasons...here are our votes.

 

Mistgod wants to give Yuki a +1 for her pure determination and focus on the science and discipline of tulpamancy and her drive to make Tulpa Info a sober place for people to really learn.

 

We also think we will give NoneFromHell a +1 vote for his ability to think outside of the box and consider a fresh perspective and weigh it fairly.

I believe it is a fair judgement, for the above members seem to be contributing fairly often, and with quality posts at that. Each and every one of them has a specific characteristic (example: Lacquer being based tulpa scholar, Vos with empathizing and being all around helpful, etc...). I would +1 the rest since everyone is really good, too, but I have seen the most from those users in specific.

I will give a +1 Vote to Evil and Sock, since I'm pretty convinced about the quality of their feedback.

Pretty much everybody else gets a 0 from me. I think most of them could also make a great addition, but I don't know them good enough to make sure.

 

For now I will vote -1 for Lacquer. He posts pretty good and unbiased answers lately, but in the past he appeared a lot more closeminded regarding tulpamancy to me, even though he isn't an active tulpamancer himself. I'm a bit worried about how this would turn out on the long run. If he keeps up with his current form he could also make a really great addition.
