I just ran into this thread and immediately thought about what's being tweeted to the hundreds of followers.

Perhaps there should be a wordfilter replacing "tupper" with "tulpa" at least in thread titles for tweeted forums.

Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee

Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her

That would be excellent. Or, you know, people could just not use slang terms in thread titles that are tweeted.

Can't expect everyone to follow enforced rules. I think it's a good idea. Although, at this point, anyone remotely reputable or with connections to the scientific community surely would have stopped following us after the threads about giving your dog a tulpa, the incest thread, or any threads showing that our community is just an off-shoot of 4chan. Anyone remaining must not be paying attention to the tweets in the first place.

But dat tupperware pun... it needed to be used.

The above post does not contain facts.

q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.

I may look into this, depending on how the wordfilter manages based on the twitter plugin.

Though I should note, moderators are also free to edit the titles to what they see fit as being tweet-friendly (I'll make a note of it somewhere in the mod notes page). As when they do, the current tweet is deleted and a new tweet with the edited title is made.

Just like when a topic is deleted, that tweet is deleted.
