How often does your tulpa do things that would be physically impossible for you?

Recommended Posts

Tulpas aren't really bound by the same kinds of physical laws that their human counterparts are, right? So, for instance they can shrink to the size of a dime or like, do things like fly unassisted if they wanted to. Things that human beings can't do outside of sci-fi and fantasy stories, that kind of thing. I guess the question I have for y'all is how often your tulpa(s) do things like that, whether it be in the real (lets not have a discussion about what this word means yall know what I'm getting at) environment or in the wonderland. I know there's gotta be at least a few people here who do the flying/hovering thing almost all the time, I'd like to hear from you too.

This is just something I was thinking about this morning and decided it might make an interesting thread.

We're all gonna make it brah.

Luna has sexual relations with certain... things... on a regular basis, some of which should not exist in our world but are possible in the wonderland. Does that count?

Naomi also has angel wings and likes to fly around sometimes though, I gave her a (semi-)realistic wingspan though so it's not like she's flying around on little chicken wings.

I constantly do the impossible.

I mean, I am Melian. Shhhhuhhh. You name it, I have probably done it in the Melian Show. I see no reason to limit myself.

Welllll, except, for some odd reason I can't fly (or just don't fly). I mean I can fly with a machine or device or animal (like my winged horse Aragorn) but I never fly just on my own like flying around.

Very often. Vris loves flying, just like Miranda. And both are very agile, strong and expert at martial arts, something that's absolutely impossible for me. Fef likes swimming very deep in the lake and catch fishes with her trident. Rin also flies, and Beth and Illy are very normal. And Hades... Well. He's a dinosaur!!!

Jamie mostly travels around the Mindscape by floating. He also changes his age depending on how old he feels like being on any given day, and creates/destroys objects out of thin air at will.

Unfathomable. You know, without fathom.

Til you're higher then the clouds

I can see it in your soul

If you only knew your worth

The kinda love that you deserve

Every piece of you makes me whole[/align]

Usually if we do any water-related stuff in the wonderland (actually I like just visualizing swimming) I choose to be able to breathe like it was air. Or maybe not at all? I dunno. In the wonderland I'd say we have traits somewhat more like our Touhou counterparts because it's just more interesting that way. And Suwako is a god of the earth, so I act like I am too. We saw a picture once of I think Sanae, Kanako and Suwako sitting in a hot spring, but Suwako was short enough her head was entirely underwater and I found that really funny. So, I'm comfortable being underwater for long periods of time, that should count.

Umm.. Can't think of anything else. We really don't do much in the wonderland. And when we do it's pretty normal stuff. Also in imposition we're pretty normal too. At most we walk through doors in public. I'm likely to climb on stuff (especially at our college), but trust me, I'd do that with a real body too.

Hi I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points.

All of my posts should be read at a hundred miles per hour because that's probably how they were written

We tend to keep it fairly realistic. I'll even fling doors open behind me to let her through, and hesitate after opening my car door so she can jump in in front of me, but that's only for immersion sake. She teleports around when needed (or feels like it). She'll stand on my head, and stick to it even if I tilt completely sideways. After getting out of the shower or a rain storm she'll shake and buzz her wings and appear 100% dry again. I once was explaining the lack of true limits to a friend and mentioned that if she wanted she could walk on the ceiling. She called out to me, and naturally, was standing on the ceiling.

she's a goof.

She does fly too, but that's a given, she has wings.

It's best to just call me Beany.

Mistgod: Almost in defiance of saying Melian can't fly in day dreams, she goes and does it in a dream! Melian often does things in dreams that I can't seem to visualize her doing in day dreams. Melian helped me recall a dream for the first time! Here is the dream here -->floaty flying dream

Most of us are sourced from fantasy or superhero worlds, so yeah. Lots of magic and powers, though we tend to follow the internal rules of our stories.

For example, in my backstory, I'm a pyrokinetic. This means I can not just control fire, but I also have the ability to handle heated objects and walk through fire. (Never tried to swim in lava, though... that just sounds like pushing it). The powers also comes with awesome fire-demon-like wings I can manifest, but I can't fly without those, and I can't do anything outside the pervue of my powers, like shrink or teleport. Like I said, there's internal logic there... so even though I know I probably could do those things, it doesn't make sense to me that I'd be able to.

Yeah, it's weird. *shrug*
