The Median Thread: Can a tulpa be a Median Aspect?

It is a little harder to post while my host is awake. She keeps dictating stuff to me. And I need to find my own words. Shhh.

 

 

David used to go to Catholic mass with her every Sunday but quit when the priest found out about me.  In the confessional, the priest told Davie he should deny me, suppress me and ignore me and pray to God instead.  He said I am an instrument of the devil to distract him from God.

 

Your priest is an idiot. There are a lot of conservative priests, and a lot of fallible ones. But I'm sure if you search, you can find one who can tell the difference between spirits and demons. Seriously, what are they teaching at priest school these days? Just like there are a lot of lgbt friendly churches.

 

That is interesting!  I know labels and categories are so arbitrary and so imperfect, but it almost seems like Scarlet is a lot like a servitor, or how I have heard servitors described.

 

I know we are new at this, but I thought that servitors were what we are calling mindless automatons? You know, the ones without a brain.

He stopped short of calling me a demon.  He agreed that I was Davie's imagination, but still said that the devil will take advantage of any distraction like that.  So he said I was a distraction from God, used by the devil.

Luna and Sol began as median aspects, but over time have become more and more independent.

I'm fairly confident they can be considered tulpas now (though obviously they will continue to grow/develop).

 

Alice began as a median aspect, and I think she is becoming a median facet. I make the distinction based on the google definitions of the words "aspect" and "facet".

An aspect being a small piece of you, and a facet being almost like a warped reflection of you. She's a different version of me, and we share the same source.

 

It's so difficult to make these distinctions.. so I usually just call them all tulpas to avoid having to explain the details.

I think the original definition of a word is not so important as how we use it.

That's how language evolves. And whether this community likes it or not, our language (and our traditions) WILL evolve with time as everything does.
