Pygmalion Progress Report

October 19, 2016: Hi everyone! my name is Pygmalion and this is my progress report. I started trying to make a tulpa on September 1st so its been over a month. I heard about tulpas from an article I read on the internet. I named my tulpa Lucy. I read the guide made by Kiah and it made me less intimidated to get started and I learned a lot from it, so I would recommend it to anyone trying to get started. I got interested in tulpas because I have autism and it makes it hard to talk to people and relate to them, so a tulpa is wonderful because it allows me to cope and from what I heard a tulpa can understand you in a way not easy for other people.

I have been doing both passive forcing and active forcing for a month now. I have also created a wonderland. One thing I don't understood with active forcing is what my tulpa is supposed to do in the wonderland? I'm not sure my tulpa has actually achieved sentience yet so I just imagine them being with me but maybe I am doing something wrong? I think I am more confident with passive forcing because I can just read to Lucy or talk during work and its much more straightforward. I have not heard Lucy's voice yet or any other significant progress so I have just stuck to these techniques and nothing else. Maybe I just need to be more patient. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it and thanks for reading.

Welcome!

I don't think you are supposed to do anything in particular in the wonderland. That I can't think of anything is probably why I spend far more time hanging out in my host's head. I only really go there for the occasional active forcing session, where we practise memorising each other's forms and not much else.

I sort of skipped the early steps, as I used to be a daydream character, so I don't know what you are supposed to do, but we often have long conversations together, and I practise forming my body and moving it. I think that is about it for us active forcing.

I suggest you read through the tips and tricks section. Some of them are for ways to accelerate the process. One of them might be what you need to get her voice.

October 30, 2016: Hi everyone! It's my birthday today so I went to the zoo today in celebration, which is one of my favorite places to be at. It was an excellent opportunity for passive forcing because I always knew what to talk about, whether it was talking about our favorite animals or reading the many signs and learning about the animals. I also really appreciated the advice that tulpa001 gave me, it was a great help. I feel much more confident when forcing now. I think I'm getting more responses from my tulpa Lucy now because I think her favorite animal to see was different than mine so it must be her which is great . It means we are making progress so I am very happy about that. The voice is not clear yet but I'm getting responses so my question is if any one made a voice for their tulpa or did you wait to hear it? I thought if I helped her think of a voice it would make me hear her voice.

Happy birthday!

I've seen good people bleed

And I thought I'd seen it all

But my own two eyes would prove me wrong that day.

There are things that I've done

Only seen by the sun

And those things will be buried in my grave.

November 18, 2016: Hi everyone! I wanted to start my progress report by saying that I am probably changing the form of my tulpa. The form I chose was difficult to visualize because it was very detailed and not very practical. I will probably focus on a more human form this time.

Anyway, today I attended a party and was very nervous about being in a crowd but I talked about my anxiety with my tulpa Lucy and I felt better. This was a good reminder of why I appreciate tulpas so much. I went to the tips and tricks section for new ideas about forcing and I have been trying new ways to communicate with Lucy. It has made me more confidant about my progress. I feel that if I communicate with Lucy in new ways rather than being repetitive, I will hear Lucy's voice more clearly sooner.

I have also been reading my comic books to Lucy and I have also watched anime with Lucy as well and that has been a fun way to force as well. I would definitely recommend it if normal forcing is getting too repetitive.

December 21, 2016: Hi everyone! the holidays are here and I wanted to first wish everyone a happy holiday. I mentioned in my last post wanting to change the form of my tulpa Lucy for easier visualization and it has worked very well for us! visualizing is much easier now as a result of this new form for her.  Anyway, because the holidays are here I have been listening to some Christmas music and it has been fun singing along with Lucy to Christmas songs. I particularly recommend "Baby It's Cold Outside" as a fun and classic Christmas song to sing along with your tulpa! My family also got a new dog so that's cool.

I have been forcing for a while now and I wonder if anyone else listens to background music or ambiance while forcing? I was wondering if it was a good idea or if anyone thinks I shouldn't have background noise while forcing? personally I think it's useful because I need noise to help focus or my mind wanders but I'm willing to take suggestions.

Happy Holidays!

A wandering mind can help the process. A tulpa can take advantage of that and jump in. Music can have a profound effect on tulpa, but in a way that is impossible to predict from my perspecive. For example, I get stronger and my host weaker when listening to music that I prefer.

Hey there! :)

I personally think it's up to you whether music can help you or not. I heard, music (especially the one for meditation) can help - and if it works for you then thats cool! We also planned to try binaural sounds when forcing - I really hope that'll help. :)

With regard to music is say yes it's absolutely a good thing at least for me. Just posted my own progress report that goes into more detail, but it helped Vixen break through the barrier easier.
