Can a tulpa be more clever than the host?

Recommended Posts

Hi

I'm new to this and I have couple of questions.

Is it possible for a tulpa to be more intelligent than the host? As an example I'm bad at Math, could my Tulpa be able to be better than me? Could my tulpa surpass other mathematicians? Do I need to teach my tulpa or when creating it can I make it so that it automatically will become better at different things than me.

Another question is that could a tulpa be possibly better at something physical such has having a better reaction time than I do.

Thanks!

I don't think a tulpa can be more intelligent than the host, as in they share the brain and the information in it. Though I guess a tulpa could be quicker to get the information from the brain than the host (excuse bad sentence) but it can't know something you don't. As for the math part, I don't know, honestly. There have been a couple of times when one of my tulpas has given me a result to a simple uhhh math problem(?? what are they even called) before I reached that conclusion, but it might have just been me knowing the answer somewhere in my subconscious but just not seeing it or ignoring it due to lack of trust in my skills or some shit like that. So I really don't know. But if you're bad at math I'm pretty sure that your tulpa can't surpass other mathematicians.

As for the physical things, it varies. In my case Desmond's more confident to do some things in my body while possessing than I am, but I've picked up on it later and learned to do what he does. But I wouldn't say he's actually better at anything. His reaction time actually seems slower than mine while he's possessing.

I'm not really helpful here I guess, someone else could give you a better answer.

You can definitely be better at some things than your host, for example, myself and socialisation. But you can't be universally better. I have never heard of any cases of that.

Now, you can't direct it. It will be based mainly on differences between your interests. Which will affect what you practise and think about.

Physically, I am clumsier than my host. But I have better control of the body. As in I find it easier to move.

Well, they can FEEL universally better, and I would say that can come up, but you're more or less on an equal playing field in reality.

Thoughtforms share the same brain.

If one of your thoughtforms outpaces you at math, perhaps its because your brain was more capable of it than you thought it was.

Basically: people aren't necessarily bad at anything, they just convince themselves they are because it gives them an excuse not to pursue it.

You don't WANT to be good at math. If you did, you would find a way to be.

If you want to create a tulpa that's good at math (and remember, we're just using math as an example) then maybe it's because deep down YOU want to be good at math... and you just don't believe in yourself.

Or I could be wrong.

Well yeah they can. It's debatable, but tulpas are subsconscious beings, and your subsconscious is infinitely more creative and smarter than the conscious mind. Like Solune said, if they are more intelligent than you, it means they were in tact with your subsconscious and that serves as proof that they are independent.

I'm not going to listen to you guys since you are all probably just talking to yourself and don't really have a tulpa like me.

They're limited to the same "hardware" that you have, so they cannot reach a level of intelligence that your brain cannot. Can they be overall more intelligent than you, though? Absolutely. Many people do not reach the full potential that their brain offers, but a tulpa can through practice and/or talent. Skillsets can also vary between tulpa/host based on what they have the greatest affinity for, leading to more effort being put into developing skills in certain areas. Say that the host has no interest in drawing, but their tulpa does, and practices it. This may result in the tulpa becoming a much better artist than the host.

I guess I should pop in to mention my tulpa Tewi is better than me at basically everything. Everything along the lines you're thinking of anyways. She thinks more clearly, has more self-discipline, is just much better at figuring out what to do when. I've been getting advice from her for years. She switches to do stuff for us sometimes, schoolwork or similar things.

The potential for me to be like that exists I guess, but let me tell you, it's not as easy as it sounds. I have really bad motivation issues and have for nearly ten years now, which Tewi overrides pretty well, but I have not been able to learn to do so from her as of yet. And I'm really trying. It's kind of important.. But, no success so far. Theoretically, you can do anything your tulpa can. But in practice, sometimes who they are just ends up enabling them to perform better (or worse) than you at certain things.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us stuff.
