Well guys its months after my account creation and 2017 and Im getting back on it. I was hit with a massive wave of real life but I have nothing but free time. Im coming back with a vengeance, baby.

~

(3/21/2017 2:53 AM, My Room): Very excited to say preparations are over and its time to get started. I have a large game plan going into this that’s going to involve two Tulpas over the course of a year to a few months. First a Tulpa named Holly, then a Tulpa named Claire. I need sleep, so I gotta hit the sack but ill talk more about this tomorrow, and hopefully post it as well.

(3/21/2017 9:15 PM, My Room): Here we go, folks. Its game time. I just woke up from a hefty nap and I'm ready to get to work. Before I do, though, I'd like to outline the plans I have for my Tulpa(s) and outline what's to come.

The main goal is to have two fully sentient, vocal, and imposed Tulpas. Time doesn't matter as long as it's eventually completed. I was against the idea of making another Tulpa at first, but upon further thought It seems more beneficial to have two different personalities rather than one oversaturated personality.

Also I just like having friends :3

SO, onto the planning.

I will be making these Tulpas sequentially, that is, one after the other. Seems to me that working at multiple Tulpas at once at the level I want to be working on would be real exhausting. Here's the info I have on the one I will be creating right now:

NAME: Holly  (Creative name, huh?)

GENDER: Female

AGE: Around my age, perhaps a little younger.

BODY LOOK:

Average build, fair but not pale skin with green eyes and black hair. The black hair is a bit of a shorter cut but its very floofy. Not curly, though.

Gotta get that good floof going on, know what Im sayin?

STYLE:

Usually wears a blue dress that cuts off at about waist level, wears shorts underneath. She wears boots and has a hat atop her floofy hair.

PERSONALITY:

Incredibly sweet to a fault. Confused at most non-average concepts, but incredibly mature when it comes to people and inter-personal relations.

Loves nicknames and songs.

Understands quite a bit but doesn't need to demonstrate it.

BONUS:

She has a light, slightly breathy voice.

Smiles a lot.

(Did I mention floofy hair?)

I got a basic plan for the activities tonight, so here's an overview:

[hidden]1st Activity, Introductions:

I cant remember which guide, but I once read that a good first step is to act like you're meeting your Tulpa for the first time, and introduce yourself as such. With my last Tulpa I tried this and liked it a lot, it helped in the whole assuming sentience department. This wont take much longer than 15 minutes. I'll also probably use this time to introduce her to herself if that makes any sense.

2nd Activity, Personality:

My personal philosophy in creation is that personality comes first. Im not too privy to list forcing, where you create a list of various personality traits and read them out for thirty minutes. I think it’s a little grindy and just doesn't fit my general style. That being said I'll make a pretty short list and just read it off once or twice. Bluesleeve once talked about symbolism in forcing, and how inserting various object (could be anything that means something to you. Orbs of light, some kind of slip of paper, just anything) into the "soul" of the Tulpa and reciting what each of these objects mean at a symbolic level is a good place to start with personality. With my past experiences I found this works very well for me in creating a base for the Tulpa's personality to develop on. I still can't decide whether Ill try puppeting to show how my Tulpa would react to various situations. Im not one of those people who thinks puppeting is for heretics, but I think it needs to be treated pretty delicately. I don't remember what guide, again, but a few years ago I read about visualizing red strings connected to your Tulpa when you purposely puppet so you can discern your own actions from the natural responses of the Tulpa. Again though, I don't know if I will use this method.

3rd Activity, Visualization:

Not much can be said about visualization techniques. I'll just being doing the classics, imagining every square inch of the Tulpa in great detail, thinking about the clothes and how they fall on the body, all the good stuff. Im certain I wont be using a realistic look, I just don't think that way. A cartoonish style seems more my speed. I swear to god I'm no got dang

weeb

but Im considering an anime style as it blends real anatomy and cartoon styles very well.

?th Activity, Wonderland

Im not sure how to approach wonderlands right now. I usually do a mix, but I'm a huge fan of walking around a chair and talking to it in the middle of the room, and trying to visualize them sitting there and speaking to them. It keeps me from falling asleep and focuses me really well. But I do like a wonderland, it gives my Tulpa a place to be when Im doing other stuff. I don’t like the idea of my Tulpa just disappearing out of reality like that. I don’t really know where to go with it, though. My downfall before has been creating a huge wonderland, I think I'll try to keep it small to start this time. I tried a fantasy wonderland before and it didn't work out very well, so I think I'll just make up some apartment for me and my Tulpa.[/hidden]

So I suppose that’s that folks. Im gonna write up that personality list and get going on going.

-

Personality List (Traits)

[The technique and topic points I'll be using for personality stem from what I THINK is JD's personality guide? Not quite sure Ill have to double check and edit at some point. Basically, you construct a list of about five principle traits that define the broad strokes of their personality. Then you deconstruct those concepts into how they relate to 7 factors:

Morality, Perception, Likes, Dislikes,Personality, Quirks, Emotions]

Holly is...

Kind[hidden]

--

Morality: Does not believe in the value of truth over the value of people's feelings. Will strive to make people happy.

Perception: Views the world optimistically

Likes: Friends, Talking, Sleeping, Eating, Watching happy shows, Cute things

Dislikes: Fighting, Death, Putting others down, Selfishness, Sea Slugs (probably)

Social Endeavors: Likes to stick with her friends and protect them as much as she can.

Quirks: N/A

Emotions: Very happy mostly, Content with simple day to day life, Easy to upset[/hidden]

Perception: Sees no excuse for selfish behavior

Likes: N/A

Dislikes: N/A

Quirks: Tends to shelter her friends a little bit

Dislikes: N/A

Quirks: Will get a bit huffy if someone is being resistant

Emotions: Is absolutely crushed if she can't help someone she's set her mind on[/hidden]

(3/21/2017 10:13PM, My Room): Its been about an hour and the list is complete. Im gonna lie myself down and get to forcing!

(3/21/2017 11:06PM, My Room): Holly is real! Badaboom! I did a short little introduction scene in which I meet Holly. More on the session and its preceding's below. Im gonna take a quick shower and do some basic puppeting exercises with her, some visualization, more puppeting, and end it with more personality forcing. Ill see you guys then!

Forcing Session (1) Roundup:

 [hidden]

Activity #1: Intro

~

I put on some of

Fede

's tones to help me focus and laid myself down to rest. After settling in I imagined a city slowly fading in before my eyes. A bullet train sped into view and the crowd unpacked. Before I knew it a sleep-walking Holly tumbled out of the doors and I took her by the arm, escorting her to our little wonderland. Along the way I explained what she is, and the process we will undertake (forcing, and all of that). When I finished talking I made us arrive at a small apartment complex. We climbed to a random story and walked into a random door, arriving at what will be our wonderland.

As we walked into the small but cozy room I felt the city melt away like a passing thought. The wonderland felt real and concrete in all its compactness, a place to stay.

I laid Holly down on a sofa and opened my eyes.

Getting up from my bed I propped a chair up in the middle of my room and imagined Holly sitting while napping. I went into great detail about what forcing means (Narration, Personality, Visualization , Puppeting, etc.) all while stepping around the chair attempting to imagine new angles of her as a informal way of visualization.

When I had recapped the basics I turned on my computer and read out the personality exercise I had completed earlier and went into further detail as to what each detail meant. After giving her a hug

:3

 I closed out the session.

(ETA: 30 Minutes)

 [/hidden]

~

[3/22/2017 1:12AM, My Room]: Got out of the shower and did a very, very quick puppeting session. Only lasted a few minutes because I ran out of things to talk about. I ought to get some better topics for tomorrow. Whatever the case I'm going to do some visualization now. Ill get back to you afterwards.

Forcing Session (2) Roundup:

 [hidden]

Activity #2: Puppeting

I showed up in wonderland and attached some red strings to her to let me know I was puppeting. Then I just walked in and had a normal conversation. It helped a lot to try and figure out her voice but other than that it was nothing I didn't know before.

(ETA: 10 Minutes)

 [/hidden]

(3/22/2017 1:21AM, My Room): Did a little less than 10 minutes of visualization. Im getting pretty tired here so time is running thin. Felt like I got somewhere though. I was imagining her bone and muscle structure, trying to feel the tendons under her wrist. I think I've got her basic proportions down and I might give her some very light freckles. We'll see, though. Moving on to the next activity: Puppeting Game!

IM Puppeting Exercise

~

You know the old AOL messenger client back in the day? One of the first chatting programs to take off? Well this exercise uses a format similar to that.

Basically, the host puppets their Tulpa and has a conversation through them in "IM". In practice the host opens up a word document and replies to themselves as their Tulpa would. It’s a pretty solid exercise in personality and narration. One of the key factors is you cannot stop and think about what you are going to type. The knee jerk method helps develop the personality.

In this session Ill be using the fake AOL handle Robo-boy293, while Holly will use PuppetHolly994

(You may ask yourself, "Why, Robot, do you need to come up with fake AOL handles for a simple talking exercise. My answer: The sick thrill.)

Ill be using a random topic generator to come up with discussion ideas.

Forcing Session (3) Roundup:

[hidden] It went pretty well for the most part. We stuck to topic and Holly started talking about bunnies. More on this below [/hidden]

(3/22/2017 1:43AM, My Room): Lemme tell ya acting like Holly was an out of body experience, I still have the jitters from using an emoticon. But surprisingly I felt the exercise was really beneficial to me. Although the situation was a little too cutesy to have any deep-cutting merit, I felt that writing down Holly's speech patterns on the fly kicked my general views on Holly's personality into gear.

She's cute. A little, TOO cute if you ask me. Im gonna have to turn that factor down a bit. There needs to be more of a human aspect to her, something a bit more mature. I feel the more of these puppeting exercises I do the more dimensions will be added to her character. As of now, all is well though.

Well, I had planned to do some more personality but Im just too tired for tonight. Im gonna hit the hay now.

Thank you for reading and stay tuned for more nonsense.

I advise against using negative traits. I'm not just saying this because I think librarians are cool. You don't force confusion, you work against it.

You should fill those n/a in. They are all applicable.

Determined people don't get crushed. They get right back up.

Edit: Kind people don't get upset. That's sensitive people.

Open up a proper reply page and use the trusty 'remove formatting' button to correct your post(s).

Good luck with your tulpas!

You are a savior with that formatting advice, and thank you for the support!

The more and more I think about this the more and more I agree with you. It seems in my attempt to create more "human" personality I was pushing potentially harmful ideologies onto my Tulpa. Flaws do round out a character but they should never be accepted or forced. Flaws are shadows cast by personality.

Also you're very right about those N/As, I was just being a lazy soul when writing it...

Thank you so much for the advice!!! Ill revise my list and perspective tonight and keep on working!

(3/22/2017 10:37PM, My Room): Well, slumped through the day and Im ready to force. Im going to focus on more in depth personality and visualization. Perhaps some puppeting later, but Im not sure whether I can come up with any activities. We shall see. Anyways, here we go!

Session (1) Roundup:

[hidden]

Did some basic personality forcing using the revised list. After one session of pure list forcing, I decided to do another with symbolic containers of personality. It seemed to be more effective and helped with visualization. Intrusive thoughts have been particularly bad tonight so all the activities have taken place outside of wonderland. Did a brief stint of visualization. I think tomorrow Im going to try and create a reference chart of her height, I feel I'm getting her proportions off.

[/hidden]

Today was an average day of forcing. Ive noticed, though, that my narration is slacking quite a bit. I'm going to need to get on that. I've implemented the nametag technique, so hopefully that helps me remember Holly better. Im also just considering doubling down and marking my hand with sharpie. You gotta do what you gotta do, huh?

Well that's about it for tonight. Below I have some questions I had during forcing, and if anyone feels like answering I'd love to hear it.

Seeya!

Questions:

-I've read many threads about open-eye forcing, in which you imagine your Tulpa being in front of you in 3d space and forcing using your reality as a wonderland. While I do love this technique, I have concerns about it possibly stunting my visualization and possibly her path to vocality. Somehow it feels less tangible in reality, however I seem to stay a lot more focused and evade intrusive thoughts. Should I quit this cold turkey or implement a nice healthy blend of reality and wonderland?

-Is it detrimental in anyway to step out of wonderland for a moment (opening your eyes)? I found myself leaving briefly to check up on my personality list. Does this break of immersion harm the overall integrity of the session, or am I just worrying too much?

I can help you with that last blank. Trustworthy people dislike lies and lying.

--That's not open eye visualisation. That's imposition. And it strengthens your visualisation, because it is harder.

--It breaks immersion. There is no integrity of the session. You are probably worrying too much.

Oh jeez, I don't know why I didn't think of that trustworthy trait. Thank you for that! I shall edit it in ASAP.

- I see what you mean about it being imposition. Although I may not always be doing visualization while doing this technique, it is basically imposition training.

- Well thats some peace of mind, I was gettin' freaked out that my sessions were going to waste. Gotta kill that doubt.

Thank you for helping me out!

Nose to the grindstone folks, lets hit it hard.

(3/24/2017,My Room): I want to have a more fruitful session tonight, so I'm going to try to get at least an hour-thirty of forcing in. I know thats bare bones standards but I need to amp myself up a bit first.

Today I had some extra time after school so I chilled out at a park near home and listened to some music while narrating to Holly. I feel the more I narrate the easier it is to recall Holly's "presence".

Tonight I'm not really looking to plan the session, I'll just see wherever it takes me. Anything that gets me closer to vocality!!!

The only real scheme I'm going in with is technique. I've been using Kiahdaj's classic guide for most of my activities. Just to shake things up and keep the juices flowing, I think I'll borrow some techniques from

Fede

's guide. He seems to be a bit more liberal on puppeting exercise, something I'm interested in. I find that picking and choosing favorite techniques from various guides tends to speed up processes and keep hosts engaged.

Anyways, as far as progression Holly's form is becoming more and more clear every time I see her. Imagining her in 3d space while visualizing in my room has certainly helped develop her angles, but of course there is much more to be done. Sadly, personality is something not so easily tested on the un-vocal Tulpa. But I'll keep at it! I think I'll take Tulpa001's advice to heart here and stop worrying so much. I feel my nerves get the best of my focus most of the time.

I can say though with pride that forcing has become something that I look forward to, rather than a chore. Along with this, my narrating is getting better. Im reminded of her more even without marking my hand.

Alright pals I'm gonna head off, shower, and force. Session details contained below!

Session (1) Roundup:

[hidden]

I flipped of all the lights on my room and put on some of

Fede

's tones to reign my focus. It wasn't before too long I had gotten a grasp on wonderland.

The first thing I did was try out an exercise I had come up with earlier today. Basically, the host creates scenarios based around the principal personality traits they chose for their list. Then you puppet out those situations to better understand their interactions and personality. Obviously, this contains puppeting so if that's not your thing steer clear.

The situations I used can be found at the end of this post.

I found that it worked really well, actually. So far its probably the most impactful thing that I've done. That's not to say I'll skimp on other forcing techniques. 100% puppeting is not something I can maintain.

Also this time I found myself much more lucid in wonderland. I tried some basic meditation exercises before going under and it worked like a charm.

Next up in the session was visualization. Prior to this session I made a graph to pit Holly against my size to get better proportions. Im 6 foot even and she seems to be about 5 foot 4. Graph included at bottom of post.

If anyone is interested in using this website here is the link

For a bit of a change tonight Im going to do in-wonderland visualization along with my impositional visualization. The more time I spend in wonderland, the less intrusive thoughts mess me up.

(Speaking of intrusive thoughts, I'm one of those people that has stuff spin and go wild all the time. I mean like objects just start spinning and going haywire. Anyone know any solutions?)

Visualization was a success. I feel it comes naturally to me, I can really picture her vividly.

Its getting pretty late (1:39 AM) so Im gonna hit the hay and end this session. I'd say it was a success!

[/hidden]

Every time I see Holly I get excited about the future. I have to be careful though when walking the fine line between excitement and disappointment in progress. This is a slow and steady process, after all.

Hour counts are not so bueno but I still feel like I'm kinda letting Holly down with how much time I'm putting in. I really need to come up with more in depth exercises.

I have no particular questions this time around but if anyone has some advice they want to share I'd love to hear it!

Anyways, thanks for reading!

Haldo folks, sorry for the lack of an update yesterday or the day before. Friday was pretty hectic but as always I'm back on track.

I've heard frequently that its possible for Tulpas to send an emotional pulse in a form of early communication, similar to headpressures. I may have experienced that, or it could have been something non Tulpa related. I doubt it was Tulpa related because of how early Holly is into devlopment, but I wont ignore the possibility.

(3/25/2017 2:19PM, My Room): No forcing yesterday so I ought to put some extra effort into tonight. I may however recycle the techniques from last session, they were effective. Before anything I'm going to take a shower and clear my head.

(3/26/2017 12:29AM, My Room): Well that didn't go as planned. Ended up going out most of the day. Anyway, time to get to forcing. I think Im going to go for a lighter session as Im a little tired at the moment.

Having trouble getting motivation, gotta reign it in.

Session (1) Roundup:

[hidden]

Session started with

Fede

's tones and some narration. Just recapped my day and some thoughts I had about Tulpas. Nothing too extreme. I also apologized for not forcing yesterday.

Next up was some impositional visualization. I remembered the advice that Tulpa001 gave me about the physics in my wonderlands breaking and it actually works great. I was able to get things under control and focus.

The next activity, that dominated the session, was puppeting. This time I went free form and puppeted the first situations that came to my mind. After a good while of this I called it a night.

[/hidden]

For some reason my emotional state was wacky this weekend, and this got me thinking. In this young developmental stage, do my emotions effect my Tulpa? Should I be trying to re frame to more positive thoughts?

Anyways, today was really just filler to keep my Tulpa up to date it feels. Next time I want to do an intense session that progresses her forward. Hopefully, we'll see that tomorrow.

Thanks for reading!

Questions:

- Does your emotional state as a host effect the emotional state of a Tulpa in development? Does a Tulpa ever have complete emotional separation from their host? (Feeling something completely opposite to the host)
