Tirisilex October 2, 2017 October 2, 2017 I'm writing a book on Schizophrenia and I'm having a section devoted to Tulpas and other thoughtforms. So I'm looking for some information from other people with Schizophrenia who have made a Tulpa and how well did it turn out or How badly it turned out. I would really like to discuss Schizophrenic experiences with Tulpas. Don't believe the things I say just because I tell you.. Test these things and prove them to yourselves so that you know them to be true. ~The Buddha
Guest fordaplot October 3, 2017 October 3, 2017 Gonna dump some research and articles you may want to cite in your book Schizophrenic voices are made worse by a stigma attached to hearing voices: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26349837 Tulpamancy-like practices help schizophrenia: https://theamericanscholar.org/living-with-voices/# Tulpamancy has a positive impact on mental health, including schizophrenia: http://www.sciepub.com/RPBS/abstract/8104 Veissiere's fucking awesome article that synthesizes all this research as an argument against stigmatizing tulpas: https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/culture-mind-and-brain/201604/daring-hear-voices Psychics are schizophrenics who made tulpas, which helps them function: https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2017/06/psychics-hearing-voices/531582/ Best of luck
