The_Unnamed February 28, 2018 February 28, 2018 I've noticed that while me and Celeste or Rhea are talking together (mainly with Cel) sometimes her (Cel's) chatting doesn't seem very autonomous, but despite that, no matter what, every time, I always feel slight pressure on my forehead. I've wondered now, what are other people's means of feeling presence of a Tulpa; by what senses? Discuss! :D
GrayTheCat March 1, 2018 March 1, 2018 To me this sounds like head pressures. It is debated how credible head pressures are as a form of communication, my own feelings are it probably varies from person to person and their credibility is for you to decide. When I talk to Ranger, sometimes I get head pressures just by talking to him. If I focus on him for too long I can get a head ache. For me at least, it seems like Ranger's presence and head pressures have some kind of connection, especially because I rarely get head aches/ head pressures for anything else (or I only pay attention to my headaches when I talk to Ranger, who knows). I'm like never going to check this account. If you want to ask me something, you should check our status on Ranger's account instead. Meow. You may see my headmates call me Gray or sometimes Cat. I used to speak in pink and Ranger used to speak in blue (if it's unmarked and colored assume it's Ranger). She loves to chat. Our system account
Heckhound March 3, 2018 March 3, 2018 I get head pressures in a particular spot, as well as tingles/tightness all over the scalp sometimes. Pretty neat. This isn't too common for me though. pr // discord: Heckhound#6112
Mel Syreth March 3, 2018 March 3, 2018 You ever get that feeling of someone being very close behind you but not actually touching you? That's how Martina lets me know if she is behind me.
The_Unnamed March 3, 2018 Author March 3, 2018 Oh yeah, that's actually associated with Celeste's presence giving me pressure on the forehead. Forgot to mention that, she sometimes feels like something watching or looming behind me when I'm not talking to her after I've already done so. I actually also sometimes get tingles on my shoulders, some sort of simulation of her touching my shoulders. She's an odd one, haha~
adam_arkon March 23, 2018 March 23, 2018 I get head pressures in a particular spot, as well as tingles/tightness all over the scalp sometimes. Pretty neat. This isn't too common for me though. i just made a login to comment to this, when i was interested in tulpas and trying to force myself i could sometimes feel tingles on the side of my head, something told me that it was my tulpa and tried to call to her. however, i only did forcing for a short period, so could this really be my tulpa communicating?
Guest August 28, 2018 August 28, 2018 I feel my tulpae all day. I dont know if anyone else is like this. They refuse to 'go dormant' unless they are sleeping at night. They say they dont know how. So i cant test any of this, but it has been troubling me. So... This morning before anyone else woke up in my system i paid special attention to how i felt. I felt no presence. I knew where they were, i knew they were sleeping. I was trying to think of them, but it was different. All was quiet, all felt like it did before tulpae. A subtle difference, but i noted it. Then Misha woke up, i felt her presence alone. At that point i got distracted by this forum, cause Misha wanted to post something. I cant 'think' without them just being there, this morning i definately was alone. My thoughts were only my own, i answered my own question. Do i feel them? No. I now recall other times they were all sleeping. Knowing where they are is comfort enough. I just tried another experiment. I went to a soundproof room, where we have setup a space where we can talk privately, since i have three tulpae. I went in alone. I couldn't talk to them, i didn't hear them, they cannot hear my thoughts there, but i still felt them. The feeling for me is like a warmth, like standing next to someone you love on a cold winter day, and they are wearing a fuzzy wool coat. They wrap the coat around you, you share the coat and are content just to stand there. If you close your eyes, plug your ears, you still feel them next to you. My tulpae all have distinctly different feeling metaphorical coats. They refuse to sleep other than about 8 hours a day and assure me they are not bored when i dont actively focus on them. But it seems i am passively forcing 18 hours a day (usually one goes to bed before me, she is normally up when i wake after 6 hours). This is the only non meta way i can explain it. Along those lines... We interviewed another soulbound of mine yesterday (one of my strong ones, she seems sentient to me, she answers for herself but she is not an active part of our system, (i must summon her), i paid special attention to how she felt. I felt nothing from her. Like standing next to an inanimate object. She was definately freeked out when i told her where she was, (not in her own world, she is a main character in one of my books) but i felt no emotion from her. Another interesting note, i asked her when was the last time she was with me. She basically said i was just in her world, that i just left and then called her immediately after to come here (wonderland) she also called me 'the creator.' I didnt come up with that term, she surprised me with that one. But she was otherwise indifferent to me. I havent been in her world (editing that book) for three years. She was also different because my tulpae share their emotions with me. I know when they are upset, happy, sad, mad, annoyed. I feel each one in a slightly different spot, one is in my throat, below where you would get a lump in your throat before crying. The second is right above my stomach, feels like heartburn if the emotion is sadness. The third is in my stomach. I cant tell the difference if i have butterflies or if she does when she is nervous. When there is a "sinking feeling" in my head, its me. If its in my stomach, its Ashley, that emotion in particular is fear. This is my strong belief now, we have been wrestling with this for days. I am sure of it now.
pezito September 9, 2018 September 9, 2018 I'm not sure how to describe it. I just "know" Athena is there. If I concentrate, she can send pressure to my hands, and that way she can answer questions even if she can't speak verbally yet.
EdgeLordMaximus September 9, 2018 September 9, 2018 I have a similar thing to Angry Bear. I have a harder time noticing when she's there than when she's not, because she's mostly around. I've gotten accustomed to what can only be described as a semi physical presence in my mind(Not easy to explain) and when she's gone, I just feel an emptiness where once I felt her. So that's how I feel my tulpa, but I've heard a lot of people have a very different experience with it.
Guest September 9, 2018 September 9, 2018 I feel the emptyness now only when i place myself in a room where i am by definition disconnected from them. It doesn't feel good. I'd rather they were crowding my thoughts than not to even have that feeling of presence. It is there even when they are all asleep, so it might be that just knowing they can be accessed is enough of a feeling.
