How does one become a mod?

Not that I want to be one, though that would be nice. So I know that Pleeb decided mods "based on their timezone, dedication, and personal trust."

So when I asked about mod re elections, he also showed me a list of current mods. But I was wondering: Is someone picked based on the above mentioned attributes or what they done (e.g. Amedus's drawing thread), and not how many times they hit that report button?

I'm just wondering what the criteria aside from the 3 pleeb mentioned are.

And if you want to be OP in #tulpa, coat Pornass' compilation of nanobots shaped like a penile vermin in spit and dorf creamer.

Am I the only one who doesn't want to be a mod anywhere ever? You'd have RESPONSIBILITIES! Also everyone would think you're a dick.

We are said to be picked by timezone, dedication, and trust.

Dedication level is influenced by things you have done, like writing guides or helping other members.

Trust is the same, but what you do is also actually useful and not just garbage you put together for the sake of gaining popularity, and you don't go off on members just because you don't like them. Bias really doesn't have a place in being a mod, since you have the power to ban people.

Your overall personality is a factor too, as well as your overall image. Your knowledge on subjects is important too.

I am content with being a member.
