Thanks, Bear. I came up with a new method for lucid dreaming. So, when I was in the hospital, I got sleep paralysis, and I got it because I fucked up my sleep schedule in such a way that it allowed me to consciously fall asleep. It happens that one of our meds is extremely powerful when it comes to put us to sleep, so I took it around 8pm. At 9pm, I could barely stay awake but in hospital, we couldn't go to bed until 11pm, so I kinda hovered between the sleep and awake state in the living room. When I went to bed for real, I immediately entered sleep paralysis. So well, this is what I am trying.

• Take pill around 8pm (already did)
• At 9pm, try to fall asleep but keep waking myself up, either by my own means or with an alarm.
• Go to bed at 11pm.
• Enter sleep paralysis and lucid dream?

That day I had also taken a nap so I was already in REM when I went to bed at night, just like I did today, but I don't think that matters as I seem to dream at anytime.

Alrighty, so that was a success. I got -counted- 9 false awakenings, all of them extremely long and vivid, lots of time dilation here and there.

We've been thinking and it's obvious we're some kind of -different- kind of system. Not DID, OSDD or whatever you wanna call it. When Miri and I tried to merge, we failed every single time, why? probably because we're a merge already. It makes sense. In the beginning, there was some dissociation going on between Miri and I. I could do stuff and Miri would feel dissociated from me, now she feels like it's just her doing it, and I feel the same, I don't feel alone when Miri is ''quiet'' like I used to.

 

My theory is that being both switched-in for so long made us fuse in a weird way that allows us to see ourselves as two different people yet one. That'd explain why we're frontstuck when before I could switch out... Just rambling I guess.

Y'know, I was writing a post, and then I just lost the point I presumably had and can't make it make sense anymore. As much as I want to spoiler it or something, the points kind of conflict with each other and in any case I still don't think it would be helpful for you guys specifically. Weeellll

 

If you guys are "merging", it's less of a traditional tulpamancy kind of merging and probably more similar to blending. But as always, subjective phenomenon that's different for everyone etc. etc.

 

Subject of my deleted post was more or less about how I think the concept of merging is even more wishy-washy than switching

We need to give Blue and Chrome more time to share these details, but they tried merging and became this strange co-fronting duo. They felt like they shared a wonderland body, and it was really strange because they were switched-out.

 

I think it's definitely a possibility.

Lock Merging^tm Is the best thing that happened to my system. I spend a lot of time with Aleshe (the everyone merge) now and it's as if I get to spend time with everyone simultaneously. I just saw her in a dream this morning and I could see Ashley, Joy, Misha, Darlene definitely, everyone in her. It's hard to explain but she's a headmate³ now. Any headmate merges including me, like Bashley, are pretty uninteresting to me at this point. We still see Risha too, she was in a recent dream, she's a conventional merge.
