It is pretty funny how that works; in our system I've always been the grounded one and he's more of a free spirit. 😊 One of his many nicknames for me is his "little voice of reason" because I will almost always interject when he's on the verge of making a less-than-wise decision. However, I only really press the matter when it's super important and usually let the minor things go.

In other news, I actually had a full conversation with Phil's mother while switched in! It's actually the first time I've ever done something like that. Usually Phil's voice sounds different when I'm the one using it, but I'm able to do a "Phil impression" pretty easily. 😄

Wow. Did she know she was talking to someone else?

I probably could do that if I had to, but I don't think I'd like it. The rare time I get to talk to someone on the Outside and I have to pretend to be someone else. Someone I was specifically created NOT to be like. I think I'd find it depressing.

No, she had no idea. 😄 I'm so closely connected to Phil that I can just slip into "Phil mode" and imitate him. The challenge is staying in the front and not just simply falling to the back, but I managed! 😊

In other news, Phil had some extended family visit recently and they were talking about family lore. A few months ago I talked about the fact that we had named our son James before we knew that was a family legacy name, being the name of one of Phil's great-grandfathers. Well, in a surprise twist, it turns out he had another great-grandfather named James! This second James was a bit mysterious to Phil's family because he was the birth father of Phil's grandmother who was adopted, so his identity was unknown to the family until very recently. So it turns out that two out of his four great-grandfathers were named James! 😁

It also makes me want to work on generating my own genealogy and family history. The joy of that is I get to be creative about it while sticking to realism. I may post little blurbs about family members at some point. 😊
