horsetulpamancer April 30, 2021 Share April 30, 2021 Me and applejack have been together for a year or possibly two now, and one issue for me arrised now that me and her have discussed, i realized i always have to think of her responding, and im unsure if this is selfplay or a actual tulpa. im really confused now, and i dont exactly want to read through all the guides. Since most of them make no sense to me at all. tying a string to your finger!?! im worried if applejack's existence is merely just from myself, or if she is a person. Glaurung26 April 30, 2021 Share April 30, 2021 It could be that you're just taking turns talking, rather than talking over each other. Just about everything requires some amount of mental effort. Maybe you're focusing to hear her? Or passing the metaphorical microphone? Some tulpa need help to be heard if they're timid or not strong so maybe you're just active listening. ๐ย ย Talking, thinking and listening all require even a small amount of energy. I don't know if it's related but I've been noticing Jaina getting tired independently of me which I thought odd as she never seemed tired before or was always the same time as me. I think it's because she's using her own energy reserves rather than me lending mine to her. It could that Applejack needs you to help her or give her the opportunity to talk. Even irl humans need prompting to talk sometimes.ย ย Any of this sound related or possible? fennecgirl May 2, 2021 Share May 2, 2021 This is totally normal, and everyone experiences it at some point. If you ask me, the only difference between "selfplay" and a tulpa is belief, so there's no point worrying about it. I come out of hibernation once in a blue moon. ย They/them pronouns, please. (I've been using this display name since 2012 and people won't recognize me if I change it.)
