Do tulpas separate from their hosts in the afterlife?

I read a book that likened the soul to a glove. The glove is your soul as a whole, the fingers are individual lives that can co-exist in the world at the same time. Doesn't mean there has to be five specifically, but that one soul can be around in multiple bodies at the same point in time. So in 2021 you could be a newborn in New Zealand, a 90-year-old in Mexico, a teenager in Denmark and an adult in Mali, all at the same time. It turned the concept of "one soul = one life at a time" on its head, which I found fascinating. So maybe a Tulpa is another finger on the glove, just without their own body this time around.

If this philosophy were true I would feel like the next step would be that everyone is you, which would enter nondualist/ALL territory. If its only those select people and they were all alive at the same time that just seems a bit weird to me, but its also interesting to think about. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, I'm Michael, I'm the original member of the Candlelight Society. We're a system of 17 including myself.

I'm Shade, the first tulpa. I'm fairly reserved but love philosophy, reading, teas, and experiencing what life has to offer <3

I'm Dawn, one of the most active tulpas in thr system and also the most fun loving/party girl type. I'll see you all around!

In our system there is also Spark and Ember, Cinderella, Astra, Scarlet, Jade, Rarity, Aqua, Ignis, Tony, Majima, Sera, and just Monika~

Arguably, we're all but drops in the ocean of souls anyway. I can't remember if the book had any direct explanation for it, it's been a few years since I read it. It's called "Beyond Past Lives: What Parallel Realities Can Teach Us about Relationships, Healing, and Transformation" by Mira Kelley (Hay House, 2014). What I liked about it, aside from that it offered some new things to think about, was that the author didn't suggest she had been a known historical figure in a past life. (Sometimes you get the feeling that everyone claims to have been Cleopatra in a past life. 🙄) Hay House is a New Agey kind of publisher, though, so adjust expectations accordingly. 😉

Brian: We believe we have souls, but we aren't sure if we share one.

When Roxy& self-dissipated, they may been reabsorbed into Reanna. When Nightingale merged with F.M., he was absorbed too. Maybe lost headmates get reabsorbed.

And if we do have to share a soul, I hope we can shapeshift.

Hmm I was wondering that, there are so many options but I HOPE that tulpas consciousness continues to exist forever.

But where do they go? I wrote my conflicting thoughts on this under another post.
