Amaryllis February 23, 2022 Share February 23, 2022 I used to see a dream in my childhood almost everyday for quite a few years. I felt like falling into a deep black hole with swirly orange lines continuously moving around the darkness. After that I could see pyramids everywhere. Then in a blink I see many people around me and I can feel their pain. Everything I saw was occurring at night time. After this dream I always used to wake up crying. But I don't know why after all these years I see this dream as a trance all of a sudden with my eyes open. For a while I get numb. Now I am curious to link every event and control my tulpa. I believe it is lost or going through something and needs guidance. I am really not able to conclude. I am new to this and this is the first time I let out this to anyone, so please help me out. Happy naming my tulpa Crimson Researching via collaborative research, paper writer and psychological journal
Ranger February 25, 2022 Share February 25, 2022 That sounds awful to hear, I'm sorry. You may want to have this checked out by a medical professional. I'm not sure what you mean by linking every event and controlling your tulpa. How would linking these events help with that, and why do you want to control your tulpa? I'm Ranger, GrayTheCat's cobud (tulpa), and I love hippos! I also like cake and chatting about stuff. I go by Rosalin or Ronan sometimes. You can call me Roz but please don't call me Ron. My other headmates have their own account now. If I missed seeing your art, please PM/DM me! Candlelight Society February 25, 2022 Share February 25, 2022 That's an interesting vision. I have heard of similar ones before during my time in occult servers, but I'm not a dream interpreter and my associates aren't good for an empirical scientific answer. On the subject of your tulpa, I highly advise against controlling them, it will build resentment and may cause them to rebel against you. If your tulpa is lost or needs guidance call out to it and commune. Discussing the problem will help you bond with your tulpa far faster than anything else. Shade: Reach out to the tulpa and work together if there is an issue. Our kind is very willing to work with the host if there is any problem, tulpamancy should be built upon a foundation of respect and trust. Hi, I'm Michael, I'm a tulpamancer and the original member of the Candlelight Society. I hope to contribute to the tulpamancy community in a positive way. I'm Shade, the first tulpa. I'm fairly reserved but love philosophy and psychonautics. I'm Dawn, I'm the most active tulpa in the system and also the most fun loving/party girl type. Control in the sense that before these numb visions my tulpa was a happy soul. But after these events, it seems gloomy and lost. So I want to know the connection. 20 hours ago, Michael Blackwater said: That's an interesting vision. Between the deadlines at work and these recurring visions entwined with my Tulpa, I missed the thought of communication. Shade is heartily welcomed. I haven't named my tulpa yet. How did you think of that name for your's? Sometimes a tulpa can also get bummed out when their host is struggling with depression or something that's upsetting them. Experiencing a sad thing over and over again can lead to everyone struggling, even if the sadness is not theirs. However, there could be more to it than that, especially if your tulpa is upset about something specific. I'm wondering if your vision spells are happening when you try to communicate with your tulpa. Is it possible for you to change the landscape, maybe to a garden or a beach? Can all the people disappear except for you and your tulpa? Edited February 26, 2022 by Ranger I'm Ranger, GrayTheCat's cobud (tulpa), and I love hippos! I also like cake and chatting about stuff. Life is kind of going in a haphazard way right now. On 2/26/2022 at 8:13 AM, Ranger said: I'm wondering if your vision spells are happening when you try to communicate with your tulpa. It just happens all of a sudden. By changing the landscape do you mean while I'm in a switch mode? Yes, for the disappearance. By changing the landscape do you mean while I'm in a switch mode? What is a switch mode? I'm not familiar with that concept, unless you mean the tulpamancy term switching. I want to define visualization and wonderland to make sure we're on the same page. Creating a mental image using one's mind's eye is called visualization. For example, one can visualize a beach and their tulpa's form standing there. The beach scene can be considered a wonderland, which is an imagined place. Anything visualized is happening in your imagination, and generally it's assumed you can control it. Most people have control over their wonderlands. If a tulpamancer wants to talk to their tulpa on the beach, all they have to do is imagine a beach and their tulpa standing there. Some people don't have this skill and may have aphantasia, but this doesn't apply to you because you can visualize things. Some tulpamancers who claim they can parallel process report their tulpa having more control of the wonderland than they do, but this doesn't fit either because your vision spells have existed before you attempted tulpamancy. If you cannot control your wonderland at all, I wonder if you're talking about dreams instead or if you're struggling with medical hallucinations. I made it up for my numb visions. 13 hours ago, Ranger said: If you cannot control your wonderland at all, I wonder if you're talking about dreams instead or if you're struggling with medical hallucinations. I had my tulpa since many years (not a hallucination). The visions were recurring dreams of my childhood. I think my recent life struggles and lack of mental peace somehow brought back those childhood dreams to my tulpa. And when that happens I get sudden feel of it. But yesterday, I was able to ignore the numbness and the transition to those horrifying dreams were comparatively lesser and blurred. May be because my work and life pressure has eased a bit now. I had sound sleep in a while and tried hard to change the dark scene into a friendly wonderland. I was successful once. But it gave me hope. The Cryptid System June 14 Share June 14 Hmmm... I don't know how much I can help you here but I do have some suggestions. First: Nightmare solution - I'm entirely sure if you wanted help with not having the nightmare or not but here's some ideas that have helped me a lot. - Control your mind and stay calm (This can change the dreams outlook and even sometimes completely stop it) - Try and control the dream, I personally treat it like a video game, I control the dream it doesn't control me if you get what I am saying - If this is all caused by your tulpa then try and negotiate with them (I'm not sure how this would work as I learnt to control my dreams long before having a tulpa) Second: Tulpa communication - I'm not an expert of this by any means so don't just jump to do everything i say, but try think with concepts to them instead of words, in this kind of circumstance it seems like they are trying to communicate via the nightmare, thus a form of concept sharing, so try and do it back. Again, I'm by no means an expert so do NOT do this if you have any doubts about it or if anyone else says it's a bad idea. Third: Extra things - If worst comes to worst and none of this works, I have a unique method of preventing it but it may not work for everyone and it is certainly not a long term solution. I have a way of forcing myself awake by willing it as concentratedly as possible. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't but it's certainly helped me wake up from a lot of nightmares. (Another way of doing this is trying to imagine your eyes opening in reality so that you wake up, it works better if you are a light sleeper. Again, I'm not sure if this is possible for just anyone) - Another idea is to try and learn to talk in your sleep so if you live with anyone else you can try and call out to them to wake you up from it if you can't wake yourself up. Again I'm not sure if this is something everyone can do but I am still suggesting it as if it is possible I've found it helpful. That's about all I can think of as advice for now, if you have any questions please ask. And I can't stress this enough, but I'm not an expert so please do not blindly trust everything I say without looking into a bit at least. I hope this is helpful in some way...
