NED August 14, 2012 Author Share August 14, 2012 i personally found it quite fun, and so did silverspeed it seems. But to be perfectly honest, its quite an effort to do it regularly and can sometimes be quite linear and silly sometimes. Just posted it to see what you all think but im too lazy to get people to play it or play with anyone else. im the best game dev ever Name - Silver Form - Harpy Sentience - fully sentient Personality - Playful, cheerful, enthusiastic, chilled Smell - Baileys Stage - Narration and imposition
Ledomare August 16, 2012 Share August 16, 2012 That's... an amazing idea. Frankly, I used to do this with my bros all the time even before I knew what a tulpa WAS. And the added benefit of seeing what goes on makes it that much better. It also brings up interesting questions about DMing with a tulpa... Tulpa Stats: Name: Lyra (Ly for short) Form: Originally Lyra Heartstrings, wants to try some new ones. Status: Definitely sentient, working on possession. Vocality limited. Hours: What, you think I still count those? Titty Sprinkles.
NED August 16, 2012 Author Share August 16, 2012 To be honest. I used to have imaginary adventures with my lil bro all the time. Even before I had a Tulpa. I just thought it would be cool to rerun this old bit of imaginary fun with my tulpa. So since its sortof my childhood i guess its kind of special. Also whats DMing? Ledomare August 16, 2012 Share August 16, 2012 Dungeons and Dragons term. Means being the Dungeon Master, which is almost exactly like being the narrator/parser in a text adventure game. So, the players tell you what they want to do, they roll, you tell them how badly they fucked up and which dark dungeon they're tied up in. I don't do DnD, but it would be interesting to see a guy with a tulpa use it like you've got it in your game. Of course, if an average person found out, that'd be two strikes against the "normalcy rating" for him. But, that's what we signed up for, innit? Pashoo August 29, 2012 Share August 29, 2012 Ned, this is adorable. Now, if I could find someone to do this with... Also, I DnD, too, so that would be interesting, having multiple tulpas and running a campaign with them. An abstract, all-encompassing love is still a love, nonetheless.
