Nighten August 6 Share August 6 Hi everyone! I'm a staff from China's tulpamancy community. (And also does translation works). We've recently collected some demographic data and some data we're interested in tulpamancy and plurality by Frank(and his tulpa Rose). Hope you'll be interested in this survey results and have a look! Questions are welcome :) modified-preminary statistical presentation of the tulpa classification questionnaire.pdf
ringgggg August 6 Share August 6 (edited) Nice! I miss the old tulpa surveys from back in the day, so seeing that people are still collecting data to this day makes me happy. The data lines up a good bit with what a couple of previous surveys (including this one) revealed about tulpamancy, at least with some of the prompts. How active is the Chinese tulpa community? I didn’t even know that it existed or was prominent enough to gather data from. Edited August 6 by ringgggg D-prime is shrinking as we speak. It is very active, with approximate 200 core members with a total of around at least 5 thousand members(systems). This community was created by @goodman3 and existed since 2015. You might be surprised that Japan has a tulpa community too(but it's more fragmented unlike the english one), and I didn't see that is mentioned on tulpa.info either. looknightfaint056 September 14 Share September 14 With the biggest population in the world, I'm sure there are much more tulpamancers in China than that, just not connected.
harvestmoon September 16 Share September 16 Thank you for sharing! It's interesting to see statistics from other cultures. I think it's interesting that this included questions on different origins, including mixed origins. If I recall correctly, that is something I don't always see on English tulpa-specific surveys. Meaningful words, I'm here!
