FigN01 May 29, 2012 Share May 29, 2012 I tried narrating out loud for the first time today and it had HUGE results. I was able to much more easily distinguish between my own thoughts and Uzo's and got some of the best conversation out of him as a result. He threatened that once he's visually imposed, he's going to play gay chicken with me just to creep me out. That bastard probably will do it too. All in all, I get the feeling personality has been going very well...

FigN01 May 29, 2012 Share May 29, 2012 It's showing some eccentric personality, which I'm happy with. I personally like a relationship where you're able to take a jab at the other without anyone being offended or irritated. I made my tulpa a male because I'm honestly more attracted to guy's personalities, and now I'm getting a playful reaction to it. It shows sentience and good humor as long as he isn't an ass about it. That being said, if any behavior ever gets out of hand, I'll correct it.
Guest May 29, 2012 Share May 29, 2012 How far is your tulpa in development?
FigN01 May 29, 2012 Share May 29, 2012 Personality is decently established and I can get him talking independently of me after a few minutes of tulpaforcing. He's limited to responding to my suggestions at the moment, so when I'm not actively developing personality or visualizing, I don't imagine him saying or doing anything in particular. I'll get around to making a post in the progress forum with more details soonish. Also, the bit about him messing with me may have been phrased badly. It was a joke in a very non-threatening context, but I thought about it more since that post. If I ever felt uncomfortable or afraid around my Tulpa, it would be absolutely horrible. We worked that out in a tulpaforcing session, and everything feels more smoothed over.
