Tomochan September 8 Share September 8 Does making a tulpa make you more powerful? I have very big things planed for my future and having a second opinion on everything could aid in my power without necessarily revealing my hand to potential enemies
AnonymousMancer September 8 Share September 8 The first thing you need to understand is that a tulpa is not a tool. They are intimate companions. In fact, the most intimate companion you may ever have in your life. You might be thinking of servitors which are just mindless servants, much like a computer. Servitors are mere shadows of actual tulpas though. A tulpa requires love, care, and at least a little sacrifice. They are with you at all times. They see your thoughts. They are fully independent entities that grow and understand your deepest desires and your darkest fears. They are a part of you, and you are a part of them. With that out of the way, what do you mean by "power" exactly? Mental power? Physical power? Ronald McDonald power? You need to be specific. Tomochan September 8 Author Share September 8 No i didn't mean it like that! Its just that i think people work better together. A room full of ten people is better than a room with one person. Iron sharpens iron and all that. When people work together it benefits them all

I will agree with you that tulpas follow the same ethical logic that others do, but you can't forget that interactions with them are not fundamentally identical to that of another person. The nuances within the relationship between tulpa and host can be harnessed and looked into as skills that can be built up. This is how a tulpa can develop, by the subtle improvement of these "mental abilities" (for lack of a better word). Tulpas and servitors share the same scope of ability as one another. The only difference between them is that one is puppeted like a doll and the other acts independent from the host. All the "powers" Tomochan is referencing can either be auxiliary or foundational to a tulpa's development, but as these skills improve, they can be harnessed outside of tulpamancy to be used in certain circumstances. It's like naturally building muscle moving heavy objects for a living and being able to apply that built-up strength in other situations that could benefit from it. 11 hours ago, Tomochan said: Does making a tulpa make you more powerful? In certain aspects, maybe. I can't totally prove that unless it's with the more auxiliary abilities like imposition. I guess they can provide a second opinion or a second pair of eyes when you need it, like you referenced in your first post, but everything else is a lot more subtle I guess having a tulpa in general could have the potential to give you a paradigm shift or “save your life” as many people online tend to suggest. If mindset or perspective is the “power” you’re talking about, there it is. If you’re talking about divination or the metaphysical, I haven’t seen much documented about that or if results even exist. Tulpamancy and magic stuff are two totally unrelated subjects, but you can practice both if you’d like and see if anything ever comes out of that. Tomochan September 15 Author Share September 15 Im not talking about metaphysical stuff, although I'd be interested in hearing your opinions about that stuff. Im talking about things like mental fortitude, resolve, and problems solving. Would having a tulpa make you think of things you would of never even thought of before? glitchthe3rd September 16 Share September 16 Having a tulpa can be useful for thinking of things with a different perspective, and they can also be a source of creative inspiration for some (like the muses of old, which may have been tulpas themselves!) harvestmoon September 16 Share September 16 It depends on the tulpa but it seems tulpas have a *tendency* towards being helpful over being harmful. Speaking from personal experience, it is possible for tulpas to be harmful. For us, it stemmed from self-judgment. If you direct negativity towards yourself, a tulpa could pick up on that. Meaningful words, I'm here!
