CarBonD May 18, 2014 Share May 18, 2014 Hi, I'm currently creating a tulpa for the first time. I've been making some good progress, but I have been tulpaforcing sitting up, and it personally makes me feel real uncomfortable. This brings me up to one question: Can you tulpaforce lying down, like on a bed or a couch?
FallFamily May 18, 2014 Share May 18, 2014 The answer is, "yes you can if you can manage to not fall asleep." I usually can't because I will fall asleep. So, if you can do it without falling asleep, all the power to you. - Hail Tri = {V, O, G}, Ice and Frostbite and Breach (all formerly Hail), and others System Name: Fall Family Former Username: hail_fall Contributor and administrator on a supplementary tulpamancy resource and associated forum, Tulpa.io and Tulpa.io/discuss/. 色の夢 May 19, 2014 Share May 19, 2014 The answer should be obvious. Why would it matter what position you're in, in order to make a thought form? "Nah man, tulpas are polar neural connections. That means they only work when your brain is aligned to earth's magnetic field correctly. i.e standing or sitting up. Lying down will essentially disable the tulpa by having the associated neurons 'turn off' so to speak." No rudeness is intended, I just think the question is a bit funny :) Will the BBB please buy my guide. [advertising link scrubbed]
a937539 May 19, 2014 Share May 19, 2014 Yes you can, I do, and I also sit in my chair from time to time. Some people take long walks or showers when they force. If you can relax your self enough then you could do it in any position. I don't like calling her 'my' tulpa, I don't own her. She is the tulpa that lives with me in our body. LittleTulpa May 19, 2014 Share May 19, 2014 You can tulpa force anywhere in any position as long as you can stay concentrated and don't fall asleep!
The Commander May 19, 2014 Share May 19, 2014 That's what I do, early when I wake up. Current: Rainbow Dash & Ruby the Dolphin LINK to the story of my Wonderland. FallFamily May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 Yes you can, I do, and I also sit in my chair from time to time. Some people take long walks or showers when they force. If you can relax your self enough then you could do it in any position. Showers work pretty well for me. If I use it properly at the beginning of the day, I can then have a much easier time doing it through the rest of the day with a much better sense of presence, better visualization, and a better ability to do different things simultaneously IRL and in wonderland (though, this does tend to lead to headaches pretty quickly). kro!re May 31, 2014 Share May 31, 2014 Whenever I enter my wonderland, I usually spawn on a bench, so it kind of helps me if I force while sitting upright. Tulpaforcing in different places and in different positions is not impossible, though. If a certain position or place of forcing works for you and your tulpa/s, then forcing in that certain position and/or place should be alright! Just to reiterate what others have said, though: be wary of getting sleepy while forcing.
