chcobo June 3, 2012 Share June 3, 2012 Okay, so. I'm new here, and I started looking into tulpae around Thursday night and started actually forming my tulpa yesterday. So far, since I don't really have a mental wonderland or anything, I've just sat down in my room, closed my eyes until I was focused on nothing but the black of my closed eyes. After that happened, I started imagining a small metal ball (thats my tulpa's form for now), and after enough visualizing this, a name for, what I'm currently guessing is a her since I didn't give her a gender, came into my head and it was Courtney. After thinking over the name for a bit I started with the personality traits, what happened is I would say and explain a trait and it would go on the metal ball as a slip of paper after I said it, and after I finished explaining it the trait's name would disappear off of the paper and the paper would disappear shortly after. After doing this for about 15 minutes I asked a question to Courtney not expecting anything, there were no vocalizations, and the response I got was a change from the color black to a light yellow. I'm assuming that was Courtney's response because every time I added a new trait or asked something the color would change. Even now if I close my eyes and say Courtney's name or ask a question the color changes. My total time tulpaforcing so far has been two sessions each just under an hour. Guest June 3, 2012 Share June 3, 2012 Parroting a color, ahaha. That's what usually happens to people that make orbs, jars, balls, or other silly things there can be thought of. It could be worse, though; at least you're not making a damn wonderland. Feel free to use the tones provided by yours truly from the resources thread. Well, I don't have super amazing visualization skills, the most I could do is either a metal cube or ball, if i really wanted to push it I could go as far as a clay doll, after hours and hours of concentration, if i didn't pass out first. chcobo June 4, 2012 Author Share June 4, 2012 Okay, so I tulpaforced again, before I intended to sleep but woke up 2 hours later. And added a few more personality traits but spent most of the time restating previously added ones and reexplaining things. So far past the 40 minute mark my concentration falters and the visualization blurs but, its still going along fine. I'm getting a few headaches here and there, nothing major yet. The worst was gone after a few moments of sitting still. Everything's going along nicely. I think I determined the color changing as parroting and there has been no responses from Courtney yet. Guest June 4, 2012 Share June 4, 2012 Make sure to count hours so you don't have to recount everytime someone asks. I personally write detailed statistics down in my tulpa log, just because I can. Headaches, pressure, and itching are good signs, but you probably already know this.

So far I've done about 1 hr 40 minutes. Maybe 2 hours. Nothing major yet. I've been noting down the times. I do know about the headaches and pressure. Wasn't sure about the itching.
