Targeting narration

Recommended Posts

My question is this: do I have to feel my tulpa to narrate to it? If I just ask her opinion on something, do I have to feeling her behind me or something? If I'm alone in my room I can sometimes feel her in the room but not all the time. Am I just wasting my mental breath if I can't sense her by me?

Providing you get an immediate answer it doesn't matter too much if you don't "notice" her in the early periods. My third tulpa, Scoots, is fully vocal, but has no presence in a room as of yet.

The only thing that matters for narration like this is that you are directing the narration to your tulpa, whether that means you have to "feel a presence" or not.

But does it matter if you are directly talking to your tulpa? Or can it just be literally narration. " I'm going to poop for three hours. " and yes, that is more of a quote than an example.

As long as you think "this thing I am going to say is intended for my tulpa and my tulpa will hear it".

The only requirement is that what you are saying is intended to be heard by your tulpa.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
