Tunes About Tulpas

Tunes About Tulpas So, I have accumulated ... tunes that can easily be interpreted as relating to tulpas .... Can anyone contribute to the paltry collection?

Tulpa Music I came across a song that reminded me heavily of tulpa. The song is Within by Daft Punk. I recommend you just listen to the lyrics

So, I've been listening to some music lately, and theres a song by "Of monsters and men" called Little talks and one of the lines in that reminds me of tulpae in general,

"There's an old voice in my head that's holding me back

Well tell her that I miss our little talks"

I love music that reminds me of Wildfire! (not the holding me back bit tho)

anyone else got any music that reminds them of their own tulpa?

Mumford and sons Whispers in the dark and I will wait also remind me of her!

Hi everyone, I'm Wildfire and I'm always happy to have a chat, come find us on IRC sometime!

Oh man, I remember being in the gym and that song would always play and my tulpas always had a right giggle at it.

I get super nostalgic about my tupper tupps when I listen to my old forcing music, though it's not tulpa related.

My opinions are all subject to change.

I know a lot of songs that easily could be talking about tulpas, though usually the songs are referencing a significant other

Those who have known Fede for any amount of time will remember this:

Although the forum seems to have a couple dozen topics about music as it pertains to 'forcing' or association, and hosts a thread with a rather exhaustive list of the tulpa-like creations in visual and biblio/graphical media, I've noticed a dearth of links and discussion regarding actual lyrical songs that portray — directly or indirectly — 'tulpas,' adult imaginary friends, and paracosmic exploration.

So, I have accumulated a smattering of tunes that can easily be interpreted as relating to tulpas and listed them below in order from least to greatest relevancy. Can anyone contribute to the paltry collection?

#4. Gogol Bordello - Unvisible Zedd

[video=youtube]

Little lady, alone in her house

She is preparing for a-bed

Little does she know — little does she know

She is in the house with Unvisible Zedd...

Little lady, in her kitchen

She's bending over, over frying pan

Little does she know, while she is bending over

She is strip teasing for unvisible man...

(More lyrics here.)

#3. Washed Out - Paracosm

[video=youtube]

You're safe

It's over now

And we're all alone

Inside

Our sanctuary

Where we can get away

A place to run and hide

You're safe

The curtain's drawn

And we're all alone

Inside

In our special place

Where we can get away

Escape it all tonight

Inside

We're all alone tonight

You and I

We're far away from it all

Inside

We're all alone tonight

You and I

Tonight...

#2. Imaginary Friend - Chasing Ghosts (Artist has been mentioned on the forum.)

[video=youtube]

I wasn't gone

It was only harder to find me

Just play along

Let the cold wind take you in its breeze

And look out at me

Like the sun through the trees

Or if not, just believe in your love

No, don't let me go

It's hard enough on your own

No, you're not alone

I've been out chasing ghosts

(More lyrics here.)

#1. Roger J. Manning, Jr. - Imaginary Friend

[video=youtube]

Like any child

Left to my own down devices played

So naturally

With those beyond the astral plane

My friend helps me understand

Imagination is key

Any wish at my command

As you think, so shall you be

But child, beware of parents' care

They'll convince you it's all in your head

That you must deal [with] what they call real

In no time your sixth sense will be dead

Imaginary friend

My imaginary friend

Now you could shrink down small

To the land of tadpoles, worms, and bugs

Or fly real high

To the moon and back in time for lunch

My friend helps me understand

Attention to self is the key

For life's within and not without

But you knew this intuitively

But child, beware of parents' care

They'll convince you that you've lost your mind

They only believe what they can see

As you cry for the spiritually blind

Imaginary friend

My imaginary friend

Imagine your friend, too

Just because you're all grown up, don't you walk away

He can always find you hiding in your dreams

The brave new world can draw you in

With its big bright lights

And the touch of skin

There's no path that you could choose

No degree of self abuse

Not a war that you could lose

That would stop your lifelong friend from loving you

My imaginary friend

Imagine your friend, too

There's a playground in my mind

And you can join me any time

The unseen world holds many treasures

Make a wish, just name your pleasure

I feel like we've had this thread before, guys... It's the weirdest feeling of deja vu.

Passive-aggression aside, I've utilized the search to no avail. In fact, I scoured it using at least a dozen combinations.

Would you please be so kind as to post the relevant thread instead of passively griping about the redundancy? That would be much appreciated. Maybe the two can be merged.
