Here's mine again:

[video=youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxHg28jCoDM

Waltzing down the street

We never miss a beat

He follows every move

From my head down to my feet

We're playing hide and seek

Between the cars we sneak

He's been with me forever

But I've never heard him speak

The Shadowman

My oldest friend

He'll be with me

'Til the bitter end

Mystery unknown

I never feel alone

Even in my bed

He's always in my head

When he goes to church

He wears the deepest black

Laughing at the preacher

Funny faces at his back

He always fights the Host

He mocks the Holy Ghost

He loves the fact that he's the one

That frightens me the most

[video=youtube]

What a sight

never thought I'd find you here

last I knew you'd disappeared

we all get lost.

I thought I

had lost you amongst the mess

and the cluttered things in my head

but here you are.

When you wake

I'll be a thousand miles away

from the promises i made

and all our love.

I'm a dreamer

with nothing left to dream

trying to tear a hole in the seam

of reality

So I was listening to my phone's music library on shuffle today when I came across a song that reminded me heavily of tulpa. The song is Within by Daft Punk. I recommend you just listen to the lyrics, it's a great song.

[video=youtube]

There are so many things that I don't understand

There's a world within me that I cannot explain

Many rooms to explore, but the doors look the same

I am lost, I can't even remember my name

I've been, for sometime, looking for someone

I need to know now

Please tell me who I am

[2x]

There are so many things that I don't understand

There's a world within me that I cannot explain

Many rooms to explore, but the doors look the same

(where are the locks to try the key?)

I am lost, I can't even remember my name

(and I wonder why)

I've been, for sometime, looking for someone

I need to know now

Please tell me who I am

Thanks a ton, Derp. That Lee Press-On one is particularly great, musically, and thematically. Worthy of the top five, I think. Delicious.

I have a couple more to add. First, another Simian song that has always reminded me of 'tulpa possession'...

Simian - Skin

[video=youtube]

I need your eyes

I need your smile

I want your mind

I want your life

I need your skin...

I need your voice

I ain't got no choice

I want your mind

I want your life

I need your skin...

I need your time

I cannot lie

You're on my mind

All day and night

I need your touch

I ain't asking much

Give me your mind

Give me your life

I need your skin...

...and another spaced-out and totally appropriate Andrea Parker tune. (You can tell she's into this kind of thing):

Andrea Parker - The Unknown

[video=youtube]http://youtu.be/7r4fW3qS2qE

There are times when I sit alone

Pulling myself away from the unknown

Patterns of life, what we see and feel

On the other side, knowing what is real

My other self I am trying to hide

Forbidden doors on the other side

On the other side

Away from the unknown

There are times when I sit alone

Pulling myself away from the unknown

Heavy silence when the darkness falls

My secret hideaway without any walls

My other self I am trying to hide

Forbidden doors on the other side...

This song is mainly about Sam Sparro's struggle with atheistic thoughts as he reconverted into Christianity (or something), but I find his sentiment towards God resonates with the way I feel about tulpas.

[video=youtube]

Mmm

If the fish swam out of the ocean

And grew legs and they started walking

And the apes climbed down from the trees

And grew tall and they started talking

And the stars fell out of the sky

And my tears rolled into the ocean

And now I'm looking for a reason why

You even set my world into motion

'Cause if you're not really here

Then the stars don't even matter

Now I'm filled to the top with fear

That it's all just a bunch of matter

'Cause if you're not really there

Then I don't wanna be either

I wanna be next to you

Black and gold, black and gold, black and gold

Mmm

I look up into the night sky

I see a thousand eyes staring back

And all around these golden beacons

I see nothing but black

I feel the weight of something beyond them

I don't see what I can feel

If vision is the only validation

Then most of my life isn't real

'Cause if you're not really here

Then the stars don't even matter

Now I'm filled to the top with fear

That it's all just a bunch of matter

'Cause if you're not really there

Then I don't wanna be either

I wanna be next to you

Black and gold, black and gold, black and gold

(Black and gold, black and gold, black and gold, black and gold, black and gold)

Mmm

Black and gold, black and gold, black and gold

Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

'Cause if you're not really here

Then the stars don't even matter

Now I'm filled to the top with fear

That it's all just a bunch of matter

'Cause if you're not really there

I don't wanna be either

I wanna be, next to you

Black and gold, black and gold, black and gold

Holy Hell on a Jungian bender. I completely forgot about this song until it made an appearance on my playlist tonight. It should hit especially close to home for those whose tulpas emerged from their dreams.

Blank & Jones - Unknown Treasure

[video=youtube]

Long were the days I've spent within these walls

And long were nights of aloneness

How often have you sailed in my dreams,

And now in my awakening?

Here I am — ready to go

Into the seasonless world,

Where we shall reap and love

In the stillness of the night I have walked in your streets

And my spirit has entered your heart

And in your sleep your dreams were my dreams,

And your breath was upon my face

Oh, to know the pain of too much tenderness

You are not trapped or tamed

Without a care,

And without grief,

You shall be free

Give up the fight and learn to surrender

[All you've gotta do is...]

Give up the fight and learn to surrender

[You know there's nothing to it]

Let this be the start of something

The start of something true

Don't wanna keep this heart imprisoned

Let me fly away with you

You don't always need a reason

For all the things you do

When you've got something to believe in

You know there's no turning back

[chorus]

Let there be no scales

To weigh your unknown treasure

It is when you give of yourself

That you truly give

Oh, to know the pain of too much tenderness

You would touch with your fingers the naked body of your dreams

[chorus]

Tülpa & Myth - Burning the inside

[video=youtube]

What about this one? :

MAGAZINE - My Tulpa

[video=youtube]

I suspect you ain't so sweet

as the lust I'm concealing

my skin will crawl back home to Ma

I've lost my way in my feelings

You always collect your fists

when my shadow falls upon your hands

you're just giving body heat away

but they say you're a nice enough young man

I want to see you

don't you wont to see me ?

I'm full of questions

you're full of mystery

You can touch yourself anytime

you can touch yourself anytime

so wretched - you are so fetching

stop smiling at me - treat me unpleasantly

You've got the whole world in your wardrobe

your furniture's made to injure me

my skin will crawl back home to Ma

when our souls mingle uneasily

I want to see you ...

Any musicians on here?

I personally think it would be a fantastic collaborative effort to write some of our own songs and make music on our own. It would definitely lead to some interesting music and if anything a fun time. I'm a percussionist,(any instrument you hit, including xylophone) and I know I would love to be involved in something like this

Even our tulpas could participate in the collaboration.

Sorry, man. I haven't had a chance to sport my headphones for the first one. I will get to that soon.

Totally agree. I used to be obsessive about making music many years ago, but life has since put the kibosh on my aspirations.

I would be ecstatic if a group of musical people brainstormed some tunes and adorned them with appropriate tulpa-related lyrics. I bet that'd make for a good experiment as well.
