ThunderClap October 15, 2013 Share October 15, 2013 Any musicians on here? I personally think it would be a fantastic collaborative effort to write some of our own songs and make music on our own. It would definitely lead to some interesting music and if anything a fun time. I'm a percussionist,(any instrument you hit, including xylophone) and I know I would love to be involved in something like this Even our tulpas could participate in the collaboration. I would gladly help you with this. I have a lot of experience and I think this would be a lot of fun to try out My guide on tulpa creation Please consider making a private grant to tulpa.info to keep the community alive. Yori October 21, 2013 Share October 21, 2013 @nilink that songwriter may not even have a concept of tulpa. It could be about something else. My lip hurts.
nilink October 22, 2013 Share October 22, 2013 @nilink that songwriter may not even have a concept of tulpa. It could be about something else. Well that knowledge removes half the post's on this thread. Edit:Actually I wouldn't mind if that creepy vid was removed it disturb's me mentally but it does have some degree of a link mate (intentional or not)if you watch the video. left blank October 25, 2013 Share October 25, 2013 Opinions on this one? Tülpa & Myth - Burning the inside Even with headphones, I'm struggling to hear all the lyrics. From what I can tell, they're mostly nonspecific, although I could see how certain lines could be construed as a tulpa wanting to be freed from within. What about this one? : MAGAZINE - My Tulpa This one I can barely comment on. The lyrics are too surreal for direct interpretation. It feels like meeting a character in a very anxious dream. But the song is interesting nonetheless, especially with the seemingly contradictory upbeat garage powerpop overtones. I appreciated that. Don't even ask how I found this just listen and watch.(WARNING diturbing content kids) I swear I've seen this video before. Seems like the song is attempting to express what it feels like to be haunted by once beautiful memories that have turned sour and miserable due to circumstances. I can see how the lyrics could be interpreted as unmitigated suffering being personified and expelled into a thoughtform. I think the accompanying images do a fine job of depicting what that experience might be like. ••• Using any of Ernest Greene's songs from Paracosm almost feels like a cheat for the name alone, but I have to share another one. As the name suggests, Greene explained that the feel and concept of the album was largely inspired by people who create entire worlds, characters, and sensory experiences within their mind. His main influence was Henry Darger, who was likely no stranger to the tulpa phenomenon. In this song, Greene's flow-of-unconsciousness seems to place him in the role of an imminent thoughtform, or at very least the plaintive, hazy voice of a neglected inner mind. Whatever the case, I personally relate to the sentiments being conveyed, and maybe someone else will too. Washed Out - Falling Back [video=youtube]http://youtu.be/PCVOm1IfpO8 You call my name out At the darkest hour You try to ignore it To forget why You know inside it's right You're falling back... You can't fight it You don't know why You run in circles From what's inside It's all you've got You're falling back...

Gabriel November 8, 2013 Share November 8, 2013 This song, which happens to be one of my all time favorites, has gained a quite deeper meaning after having found Gabe. -R. [video=youtube] You've Got A Friend - Carole King When you're down and troubled And you need a helping hand And nothing, nothing is going right Close your eyes and think of me And soon I will be there To brighten up even your darkest night You just call out my name And you know wherever I am I'll come running to see you again Winter, spring, summer or fall All you have to do is call And I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah. You've got a friend If the sky above you Should turn dark and full of clouds And that old north wind should begin to blow Keep your head together And call my name out loud, yeah Soon I'll be knocking upon your door You just call out my name And you know wherever I am I'll come running, oh yes I will To see you again Winter, spring, summer or fall All you have to do is call And I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah. Ain't it good to know that you've got a friend When people can be so cold They'll hurt you, and desert you And take your soul if you let them Oh yeah, but don't you let them You just call out my name And you know wherever I am I'll come running to see you again Winter, spring, summer or fall All you have to do is call And I'll be there, yes I will. You've got a friend You just call out my name And you know wherever I am I'll come running to see you again (oh baby don't you know) Winter, spring, summer or fall All you have to do is call Lord, I'll be there yes I will. You've got a friend Oh, you've got a friend. Ain't it good to know you've got a friend. Ain't it good to know you've got a friend. You've got a friend.
