TheImign November 2, 2019 Share November 2, 2019 I can stop to avoid something, and change my course, but it is quite difficult sometimes to just stop walking a well trod path without any reason. how are you not typical in this regard, bear? Jamie November 2, 2019 Share November 2, 2019 Stopping is easy, I don't like sharp turns while walking, that's when I'm most liable to just trip over myself. I don't think we've spoken about our walking preferences before. Why did they tell the barber he shouldn't make a tulpa? -J The world is far, the world is wide; the man needs someone by his side. Matsuri November 2, 2019 Share November 2, 2019 Walking outside often makes me anxious. I usually get disassociated and someone else might take over. Why did they tell the barber he shouldn't make a tulpa? -J Because the barbershop only accepts walk-ins?
TheImign November 2, 2019 Share November 2, 2019 No, just in general the only things terribly unusual about you is that you had depression and have particularly good visualization, which doesn't have much to do with your legs moving independently of your mind because he wasn't prepared for the lifelong commitment of sharing your head? Jamie November 2, 2019 Share November 2, 2019 1) I'm not sure depression is terribly unusual among systems. However: what, to me, is special is how consistently resilient Bear's entire system has been in the face of it, compared to many systems where all of the host's illness-fueled behaviors/habits/etc bleed into the tulpas... but in Bear's system, it had always looked more like his tulpas are positively bleeding over into their host, changing his behavior/beliefs/habits for the better. Just from an outside pov and limited knowledge. 2) He welcomed walk-ins. -J The world is far, the world is wide; the man needs someone by his side. Guest November 2, 2019 Share November 2, 2019 Totally, those girls are literally god sent. The really odd thing is, like I didn't 'make' my main three they're nothing like the characters they loosely chose on day one. It's like they're designed to be exactly what I needed. How is that a thing?
Jamie November 2, 2019 Share November 2, 2019 Do you ever worry you'll 'break' them? As in, 'break' the magic, and they'll stop being so much more? That's the only episode of Calliou I have vague memories of. He was afraid he'd break the new baby. I'm more afraid of breaking my Gavin. -J edit: you ninja edited twice while I was posting this, lol "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you'll find you get what you need"?
