Lucilyn June 29, 2020 Share June 29, 2020 wake me up when september rains Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points. I think being happy and having fun makes life worth living, so spreading happiness is my number one goal! Breloomancer June 29, 2020 Share June 29, 2020 so that I can feel magnetic fields. I am still doing research to see how safe it is and what the chances are that it will cause me to accidentally mess up electronics. even if I decide that it is a good idea though, it is likely not something that I will do until many years from now since it seems expensive and difficult to find someone who will help you with it. still, it seems really cool and it might even be useful sometimes I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much. Lucilyn June 29, 2020 Share June 29, 2020 just carry around a magnet in your pocket I feel like that was pretty obvious Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! Breloomancer June 29, 2020 Share June 29, 2020 just carrying around a magnet wont have the same effect. by having a magnet implanted into your body in the right place, nerves will grow around it and attach to it so that you can feel magnetic fields like a sixth sense. after 3-6 months, if everything is done properly, you will be able to feel electronics and power cables and all sorts of things. I am still not certain if you can use this to sense where magnetic north is though I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much. Jamie June 30, 2020 Share June 30, 2020 I have seen those before. Getting a piercing shop to have it done, at least when I learned about such a thing, was not an easy task. You could do it yourself- but that's a much higher chance of messing it up, and have fun explaining that to the doctors who have to take it out. I also want one. I wonder what the TSA's reaction would be. The world is far, the world is wide; the man needs someone by his side. Our Thread
Breloomancer June 30, 2020 Share June 30, 2020 (edited) no way am I going to do it myself; ideally I would want someone who has already done it before, but I doubt that someone like that lives nearby. it seems pretty safe though, as long as you are careful about it. it won't be able to mess up computers or credit cards either, and it is too small for TSA to be able to detect it. it also can work with MRIs (as long as it has already healed that is; if the cut hasn't sealed up yet, then the magnet might come out, which would be bad), though it is a good idea to tell whoever is operating it that you have the implant beforehand Edited June 30, 2020 by Breloomancer I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much.
