Luminesce December 29, 2020 Share December 29, 2020 (edited) People say good night exclusively when they don't plan to see the other person anymore (including literally closing their eyes), but they say good morning no matter what as long as it's morning time, even if they're just passing a stranger on the street that they won't see again, and honestly even if it's not morning and someone just woke up very late But good night isn't really time dependent either, it's more of a farewell for when someone is going to sleep most of the time, since you can say it to someone who's going to sleep at 9pm when you don't intend to sleep until 1am Good Earth Rotation, being apparently time dependent for the recipient, is used in place of "good morning", but never in place of "good night" Just thought that was interesting Edited December 29, 2020 by Luminesce Hi! Breloomancer December 29, 2020 Share December 29, 2020 good earth rotation could also be used in place of good night, it is just not used that way as often I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much. Luminesce December 29, 2020 Share December 29, 2020 You said good night, I said good night, then I said good morning, then you said GER Very suspicious to imply you meant good night, I think you just wanted to use the time-neutral term Hi! Breloomancer December 29, 2020 Share December 29, 2020 I did just want to use the time neutral term, but I was also using it as a farewell I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much.
