Breloomancer January 14, 2021 Share January 14, 2021 now for the classic question of "what is an illusion anyway" I tried to search up a song that I really liked, only to realize that that song didn't actually exist and I just dreamed that I heard it I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much. Breloomancer January 14, 2021 Share January 14, 2021 I wonder if, if you stopped taking those anitpsychotics, Akai would come back, or if now that the "illusion" is unveiled, it is gone for good I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much. Matsuri January 14, 2021 Share January 14, 2021 Isn't tulpamancy mostly all about fooling oneself?

Guest January 14, 2021 Share January 14, 2021 Fail as in, ending with a puppet instead of a sentient person, that's what I meant by 'failing'
Breloomancer January 14, 2021 Share January 14, 2021 tulpamancy is about changing a system which is already separated from external reality. I wouldn't call it fooling yourself, but it certainly isn't not fooling yourself either I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much. Matsuri January 14, 2021 Share January 14, 2021 You fool yourself into believing it's a puppet instead of fooling yourself into believing it's a sentient person, so in that regard I guess you may fail if your goal is to make yourself believe it's a sentient person Usually, there's subconscious reasons for your decisions of not believing. It might go against something else that you value more or anything really
