By finish I didn't do too much to it as I suck at taking drawings very far but my friend liked them which is rare and so do I so there it is I guess

if your friend doesn't often like your drawings, they must be very critical. just about everything I've seen you make would, I think, qualify as "good art"

They just usually don't comment when I send a drawing and are apathetic to them, so for them to think it is good enough to like and retweet is a good thing I suppose. They are picky and have particular tastes

 

I'm glad you think everything I make would qualify as good art though. Hmm.

Well it's slightly unfair in a sense. Once an artist is skilled enough, everything they make is going to be higher quality than a less skilled artist, even if they tried hard. Looking good doesn't necessarily correlate to having tried really hard, though sometimes it does. And it does correlate to skill that you've earned in the past either way

Yep, that applies to a lot of skills. At a certain point, you're getting results without necessarily trying hard, but the lack of apparent effort is only a result of having already put in enough effort to get to that level of skill in the first place.

I think it is less about effort and more about them liking femboys and very curvy women. Also sometimes my drawings just legitimately look weird, like my drawings of Rena squatting I posted

Lol, it is cool. But you already know how much work you've put into learning art, so it shouldn't be too surprising.

 

I decided to start screensharing Blender in a voice channel on our personal Discord while talking with friends yesterday, and messing around making random stuff is kind of fun with other people sometimes watching.

 

I want to do that more often
