Host is 178 cm and weighs about 72 kg.

In your clown units that's about 5'10" and 160 lbs - not great not terrible.

Still made him do 50 push-ups and 100 sit-ups upon reading this discussion while calling him a pathetic loser and useless waste of organic matter. And we're not done yet!

Sit-ups are bad for your spine

https://community.tulpa.info/topic/7356-game-last-one-to-post-wins/?do=findComment&comment=355458 (and the post after it)

We're doing front planks and side planks to work out the same (and more) muscles than sit-ups

I did 45 dumbbell rows with each arm w/ 15 lb weights, though I wish we had a nicer surface to do it on than a couch, I worry about our form being off

(We'd use heavier weights for rows and curls... but we don't have any above 15 lbs yet)

Hi. I'm one of Luminesce's tulpas. Unlike the others, I don't think I stand out too much from him personality wise.

I'm just special because "I'm a tulpa". So I don't think I've much to offer, here. I'm happy enough to just be with him.

I used to do 100 push ups and 200 sit ups a day most days and like half that on off days. Now it is hard to do half that. Oh well. Can't excercise right now because friend is asleep

You know what you CAN do while your friend is asleep?

.... planks

(just don't push yourself so hard that you gasp or anything lol)

Very true if done incorrectly. Not lifting the back off the ground here and going slowly.

The same actually goes for push-ups which are not the best for your shoulders' rotator cuffs and elbows when done too fast or too wide. You can do almost every exerise wrong and cause more damage than benefits.

Still should force that lazyass to do more planks and other exercises you linked, that's a good variation.

Note since you guys both already do sit-ups, that planks can be made harder in various ways (maybe google "make planks harder") if you're able to do them for a full minute without too much struggle.

For front planks, the simplest thing is to put your feet up on a stool or just slightly elevated in any way, and for side planks you could do side bridges (which Lumi did on day one and that's why our sides hurt so much the next day lol)

There's also this list of other exercises targeting your abs, but most require some form of equipment

https://exrx.net/Lists/ExList/WaistWt#Rectus

A couple of these exercises are considered "dangerous" like sit-ups, but are listed like any other exercise, you only really see that if you look for "Also see Dangerous Exercise Essay" at the end of the Comments (ie sit-ups page)

I think I realized partially why I feel worse when my friend is asleep behind me. I can't fidget like I normally do and it makes me not feel so good
