I have very vague memories of it as a child I think but I am not sure if I actually saw it or not. I've at least seen some images of it but I don't really know what it is about

I'm actually failing at thinking of the best way to describe it. I'll try my best: It's an 80s (English language) German film based on a children's book about an imaginary land being devoured by "The Nothing", which I think is a metaphor for people not dreaming anymore. It's got a certain aesthetic to it that is hard to describe. It's sad but also charming and heartwarming. Somehow I've connected it with you in my mind TB.

Also it's worth mentioning that the two sequels are BAD, particularly the third movie.

Yeah but if you incorporate age you have to update it every year. This is why databases all store date of birth, since that never changes.

the idea is that it gives a unique ID each time just based off of those two things, so it should track age down to the milisecond. date of birth never changing is what makes it useless

Subscribe to the multiple-timelines model of time travel where you just create an entire new universe every time you mess with time, then everyone can always say they're the current and original them

the idea is that it will be easy to use my language even in weird edge cases that may or may not actually be possible. my language, therefore, needs to work with all varieties of time travel. also, even if you are going to new timelines, you can still go to a point on that timeline where you and your past/future self exist at the same time, and even if you come from different universes, you'll still have the same name unless one of you changes it

I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much.
