Hey there, the name's Bryan. In system Re:Body(In order of the rainbow):

Sean, Esper, Blinky, Compact, Janey, Kyle, Gwen'd, Gwen, Emily, Rollin, Waynin, Trease, Layy, Justin, Chloe, Zachery, and Elliot.

I've been here a while. Much longer than I thought I'd be. Our system was founded October 2nd, 2018. In early 2020, we decided that due to our systems exponential growth, we'd limit who would be active. Now, every month, we do a check to see who wishes to be in dormancy and who wishes to be active. Currently, for the month of April, 2023, we've got myself(Bryan), Janey(Co-host), Emily, Layy, Chloe, and Esper(sub-rep). After over 2 long years, we can finally switch :)

Bryan is currently swapped in as host, Esper is sub-rep.

Extra Easy Virtual Environment Engine, not that anyone knows it stands for that

It uses rasterization instead of ray tracing to estimate light way, way, way more quickly than Cycles, which is a fully realistic lighting engine but that has to re-render over several seconds every time you move the camera and still looks pixel-y (for final renders with Cycles you generally set the number of samples to in the thousands and give it a minute to produce a single image)

I think they(? I'm still not certain on Ranger's pronouns) were responding to Ice

I mostly gave up on pronouns. If you use a neo pronoun or an emoji pronoun I'll have no idea who you're referring to, but I'm fine with he/she/they. Please don't call me "it".

Jeez, a response to a random section of the biggest textwall post made this year from 9 pages ago? Yeah I definitely missed that

I didn't feel like quoting, and I wrongly assumed it was obvious I was talking to Ice. I guess I can use the ping next time, but I can't promise I'll always have the energy to quote things.

Also, come on, 9 pages this year? That was a few days ago!

Edit: I reread this and realized you said biggest textwall this year not that... I honestly don't even understand the logic I pulled for this anymore.

This is where I should mention I'm not being as good at catching up on LOTPW as I used to be, but every now and then I'll attempt to skim what I missed

I wasn't there to see what they were actually saying, but it might be a good idea to consider the difference in game design and game development. Game developers do not appreciate non-developers telling them about game design

You make a good point, but I still think they overreacted. Funnily enough, Gray talked to his father about game design today and he was a little bit annoyed by his father's ideas on how to make a game. However, Ice is an actual designer, and iirc, he made that clear. I think getting all worked up about constructive criticism is a red flag they're immature.

I physically feel pretty great that I haven't drank in like 2 weeks. Drinking is a great way to just feel physically like crap so much you get used to it and it becomes new normal so when you wake up 2 weeks later with no alcohol it feels like you awoke in a new body

Yeah, I'm more productive than before and consistently so, but it's not the minimum pace I want to be making real progress, nor a pace befitting the amount of free time I have

Congratulations guys! That's awesome!

One of the two kinds of tuna for example you can only eat once every like 9 days, if you had it consistently more than once a week you could get mercury poisoning

But both mercury and omega-3 amount varies immensely by type of fish, so look it up

I really hope canned tuna isn't that bad for you...

What's with this good nutrition advice on Tulpa.info ruining my food life. First Reguile telling me powdered creamers could have a lot of trans fat and now you can only eat certain types of tuna once every 9 days. It's good advice but it sucks to hear.

The tuna thing doesn't suck to hear, if you get mercury poisoning you will not be happy

Skipjack and canned light tuna, which are relatively low in mercury,

can be eaten as part of a healthy diet.

However, albacore, yellowfin and bigeye tuna are high in mercury

and should be limited or avoided

Quote

Chunk light is made mostly from skipjack tuna, a smaller species of tuna.

Albacore tuna is a larger species and contains higher levels of mercury.

Canned white albacore tuna typically contains about 0.32 parts per million of mercury.

Canned light tuna contains about 0.12 parts per million of mercury.

Chunk light = skipjack tuna, can be eaten 2 or 3 times a week

Chunk white = albacore tuna, can be eaten ~3 times a month (every 9-10 days or so)

I eat the latter, which has significantly more omega 3's than the lower mercury tuna, so I don't have to eat it as often

If you just eat salmon or mackerel a couple times a month you should never have to worry about omega 3's (or mercury) though

If you want to eat them significantly more often, look up how much is okay to eat per week, though it's generally 2 to 3 servings per week
