anyways yes, when not in their own bodies, Roxas and Xion (and maybe Ventus) are very tulpa-like, and sometimes real people basically become tulpas for a while when their heart is in someone else's

random typos are one thing, but what bothers us is when someone consistently spells something wrong over a long period of time, so they clearly just don't actually know what's right and that's why we tell them

I don't see what's wrong with informing people of the right spelling of something, only after making sure it wasn't a random typo but actual not-knowing after repeated uses

also extravert is kind of a different thing, technically extrovert is an accepted spelling, our problem with it is that it was a mistake that became frequently used and then accepted, so we care a lot more about it than random typos

 

also repeated typos actually do bother us a lot, otherwise we wouldn't say anything

normal typos (accidents) only bother us when they're our own, or in like an official written thing (we correct minor typos on wikis sometimes for example)

Nooo, you're thinking of Koomer and Oguigi, Linkzelda was an incredibly verbose tulpamancy philosopher who made tons of extremely in-depth discussion threads on really deep concepts surrounding tulpamancy

You can look at his threads here, though he was known for being hard to parse sometimes because he honestly just used so many complex words and references lol

 

Lumi tried his best to participate in the threads though because TBH Linkzelda took tulpamancy-as-a-science way more seriously than basically anyone else

awh, we're not good enough at Blender yet to make people's tulpas so we can't participate..

our progress with Blender slowed (mostly stopped actually) now that we're focusing on game design/learning Unity, we're still learning Blender long-term but now it'll mostly be learning-as-required for things we need inside of Unity (ie we learned how to bake all the fancy visual detail in Blender into image files/maps, to apply them in other programs, but we haven't been continuing tutorials on character creation yet)

 

 

but one day when we are good enough we'll just do it randomly for people, so oh well

so much thinking about game design the last few days

idk if I will still be as into it when we start just doing the actual coding (I bet the NPC/monster model creation would be fun though), but at least in the ideas structuring/balancing phase it's really fun to think about

(that also includes considering the viability of coding things/how the code would vaguely work though, not just making stuff up willy-nilly)

it seems like we might end up spending a lot of time learning code around custom movement to meet our standards compared to any individual other thing

default Unity or Unreal Engine physics are fine for super basic games with no focus on movement like the Stanley Parable or VRChat, but for an action-oriented game like we want to make, we'd want movement like Kingdom Hearts 3 (actually, 0.2 Fragmentary Passage specifically) or something like that, and that'll take more custom code to accomplish

 

it's really important to us that it feels good to move around & cast spells in our game though, if it doesn't feel fun by default then the rest of the effort is just a waste
