Hey there, the name's Bryan. In system Re:Body(In order of the rainbow): 

Sean, Esper, Blinky, Compact, Janey, Kyle, Gwen'd, Gwen, Emily, Rollin, Waynin, Trease, Layy, Justin, Chloe, Zachery, and Elliot. 

I've been here a while. Much longer than I thought I'd be. Our system was founded October 2nd, 2018. In early 2020, we decided that due to our systems exponential growth, we'd limit who would be active. Now, every month, we do a check to see who wishes to be in dormancy and who wishes to be active. Currently, for the month of September, 2022, we've got myself(Bryan), Janey(Co-host), Emily, Layy, Chloe, Trease, Rollin, and Esper(sub-rep). After over 2 long years, we can finally switch :) 

 

Bryan is currently swapped in as host, Esper is sub-rep.

Yeah I've avoided making a Reddit account for all this time for a reason; it's pretty much all cancerous. There are some decent subreddits out there but r/tulpas ain't one of them.

I've browsed Reddit from time to time, but never actually made an account. Speaking of which, today I read on Reddit that apparently the earth is spinning faster and a couple days ago the day was over in less than 24 hours (by 1.59 milliseconds). How do scientists manage to observe this in the first place?

  Extremely weird that they would be THAT hostile to you, since what I used to read they seemed pretty open minded about stuff like insta-tulpas and the like. Makes me wonder how the Amino tulpa community is doing nowadays...

Hm 🤔 I could imagine measuring things relative to each other but if you're looking at a spinning top, that's also moving in an arc, how do you maintain an absolute point to measure from? I guess you would have to track simultaneous vectors for multiple objects to pin down one value. I really never considered the logistics of measuring astronomical objects.

The answer is (relatively) simple and it's called Barycentric Coordinate Time using the barycenter of the solar system.
