Luminesce March 22 Share March 22 TB, I googled "rice cooker rice is hard" and got an answer If you want it you should also google that Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. Breloomancer March 22 Share March 22 i was thinking about ways to make my life weirder and more complicated, and i thought maybe i should take a vow to never subvert grice's maxims on purpose, but then i came to my senses and realized that i really didn't need to make my life more complicated. sure, lots of people would probably benefit from having weirder and more complicated lives, but my life is already pretty complicated actually I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much. Luminesce March 22 Share March 22 (edited) I feel like a more interesting thought experiment type thing like that would be "What's a subject/skill/etc. I could do a deep dive on and focus really hard on learning for a while that would give really interesting/rewarding results?" AI comes to mind as the subject with the most projected value vs. how many people are educated on the subject, but it could be anything, 30 day deep dives on skills (even like just making music or something) are pretty enlightening Edited March 22 by Luminesce Hi! Breloomancer March 22 Share March 22 but i already do that sort of thing just normally my thought at first was "if i pre committed myself to always being open and honest, that would make things move forwards socially a lot more quickly, even if the direction they moved in wasn't always comfortable", but then i realized that if i couldn't say polite lies, or lies by omission, that would pretty quickly destroy almost all of my irl interpersonal relationships and cause so much unnecessary drama. it's really not a golden apple that i need at this time in my life I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much. Luminesce March 22 Share March 22 (edited) Well that's great if you already do that, most people don't though (myself included, though obviously we're more focused on the few specific subjects we're committed to recently) Quickly making my way through the second learn.unity.com Pathway now, made a sample car drive and hit obstacles and stuff in not too long. We're at a point though where I feel our potential for what we can know how to make is much higher than in the past things we've shown, so I don't want to show off anything until we've made a new big project that better reflects our progress. But also I'm giving a lot of value to the consideration that what makes "crappy beginner projects/messing around" fun to see is almost entirely basic visuals, because even crappy custom models and textures have a lot of charm to them compared to basic "building block"-type stuff. So I think we're going to spend some more time practicing Blender and likely even Substance Painter to create some basic textures before we complete our next big project to show everyone (maybe even first, if you don't count Tewi's one-day pachinko project). I've been saying "Probably 1 to 2 months" as an estimate the last few days, not as a deadline but just a guess at where we'll be by then. Theoretically if everything turns out to be smooth and simple though we could have a (maybe smaller) thing to show in only a few weeks or something, no idea Edited March 22 by Luminesce Hi! ringgggg March 22 Share March 22 (edited) 19 hours ago, TB said: my rice is hard. does that mean it is over cooked? Might need to turn the intensity down, the heat could dry up the grains Looked it up and google says yeah too Edited March 22 by ringgggg I'm Ringgggg, the guy who can't seem to stop changing his signature. TB March 22 Share March 22 I would be housekeeper or laundry. And lumi I see There aren't intensity levels on my rice cooker, there is just a warm setting and a cook setting Creation for creation's sake.
